Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Steele was a good 'keeper, but we're always going to be comparing him to his predecessors. Robinson was very good, and Friedel was outstanding. Steele was always going to look worse, but made some crucial saves and generally played well. I've been impressed with Raya, he's young but has shown some g...

Re: 17/18 Kit

And here it is. Nice. Well done Umbro. 👌 https://www.rovers.co.uk/siteassets/news/away-kit-1280x720.png/small The new Blackburn Rovers' 2017-18 away shirt is now available to pre-order. I used to love this one when I was younger. No idea why. Still got it somewhere though.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

How does anyone feel about Paul Caddis? And is there any other rumors going around for forward signing? Sound's like he's impressed Mowbray The 29-year-old defender has been on trial with the club since the start of pre-season and played the first half of Rovers' 2-1 victory over Barrow on Saturday...

Re: Recruiting

I've been involved in bringing in apprentices. Once we had to give the position to the only candidate who turned up dressed for interview (we'd already rejected an entire first batch and gone out again), and once we had someone who when questioned in interview had no idea what half the stuff on his ...

Swallow has to be laden if he's shooting at sand. Unless it's the swallow being fired. Not sure how much sand it would take to stop a swallow.

Wet or dry sand?
Unclear. I'm assuming dry, this man's cardboard box full of sand doesn't look wet.

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

Sounds similar to the research I was doing. Apparently a brick wall won't stop a bullet, but two bricks will. So will 7 inches of sand. A microwave won't, but an oven will. I'm still wondering where an American dumb enough to take a bullet from 30cm got an encyclopaedia from. They don't strike me as...
