Re: Sack race

"His appointment comes after Stoke failed to land any of their top three targets. " :D Vice-chairman John Coates added: "Paul has been successful in management at clubs with a strong and stable background and with local ownership - the kind of foundation we are able to give to our managers. Slight ...

Great result, just what we needed and a good scoreline too, not a 1-0 squeaky bum time match. Sounds like the lads went in there full of confidence.

We've also got League 1 player of the month Bradley Dack in our locker. Plus a few issues elsewhere in midfield: Corry’s got a thigh strain, it will be a couple of weeks, I think" "Peter is a bit worse than Corry. He’s looking at four to six weeks" "We've received confirmation that Marcus will be ou...

Re: Energy companies!!!

Engie , only since October so I'm not in a position to leave anyway. Before them I was with Ovo, who were the best energy company I've ever used and had a really nice phone app too for submitting readings, but after a 3 year price fix they upped it and leaving was cheaper. Edit: I've just done a qu...

Just had a look at bulb, they want to charge me nearly £30 more than my current supplier :o
But you get £50 back - so £20 win!

(I'm guessing you don't mean over the length of the contract though)
No, an extra £30 every single month. Think I'll give bulb a miss. :D

Definitely don't do it in the shower then. Never do it in the shower anyway. Nowhere for it to go other than up.

Highlights and match report up on BBC Sport if you feel the need to see us concede a poor goal. (and no, it's not embeddable for you guys in America, sorry...) A poor goal to concede and disappointing to lose a game, but a draw and replay would have been worse. He gave a few key players a rest and ...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I'm always genuinely intrigued to read others' positive comments about Henley. I thought he was absolute rubbish and couldn't understand why he kept getting in the team. He looked scared to put a tackle in most of the time.

Re: Rotherham/Blackburn, happy New Year!

Yeah just worries me that we just can’t seem to overtake shrews. A win today and then beat them would have done it. More pressure on us to win now and less on them. Seem to get close and either slip up or they pull a few wins out the bag. We've been playing catch-up all season. They didn't lose a m...

Re: Rotherham/Blackburn, happy New Year!

Very frustrating to let two points slip at the end, but not disastrous. 6 points over 4 games in 10 days, no losses, with illness reportedly sweeping through the squad at various times is a decent return. It could have been better, but I wouldn't have turned that down before Christmas. A couple of w...
