Re: QPR v Blackburn Rovers, Fri 20 April 2019, KO 15:00

Anyone else think we made hard work of that..? We should have won by 4 or 5 goals. We need to develop a more ruthless side to us. So many times we got in to good positions but either our final pass or finish was lacking. One thing we definitely learnt today was Leutwiler is not up to it. He flapped ...

Re: Nottingham Forest v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 13 April 2019, KO 15:00

Better than Williams by far but I would be looking at a new left back to challenge him. On Williams....he has been very good at centre half the last 2 games and is the position I’ve always thought he’s stronger in. I don’t want to see him at left back again after some of the horror shows this season...

Re: Nottingham Forest v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 13 April 2019, KO 15:00

Convinced about Bell yet Gaz? He’s getting better, some good and valid comments from Mowbray in the LT. I’m not mate. I think his biggest weakness is his self belief. Looks to take the easy option of cutting back and passing backwards. He does have some good attributes and maybe a full preseason an...

Well deserved victory, well done boys!

Can’t help but look back at February and March and think what could have been. Hopefully a positive end to the season will bring momentum into next. A few additions and we might be challenging playoffs.

If everyone is fit from Tuesday night, then the same team starts...simple! I don’t want to see any tinkering Tony!

Funny what happens when you play players that want to play offensively. Best performance of the season tonight, absolutely fantastic.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Stoke City, Sat 6 April 2019, KO 15:00

Spot on ^

Genuine question....how many of the games that Smallwood has started has he actually finished? I would guess less than 20%. What does that tell you....

I don’t want to sack TM, but he HAS to be ruthless this summer and cut out “his favourites.”

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Stoke City, Sat 6 April 2019, KO 15:00

Stoke probably one of the worst sides I’ve seen this season....and they beat us...says it all really. A starting midfield consisting of Smallwood, Evans and Bennett...1 goal between them this season...Jesus Christ!!

Nervously looking over our shoulder...

Re: Sheffield Wed v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 16 March 2019, KO 15:00

Just watched the highlights. My god our defending is awful. I acknowledge we are missing 3 central defenders but these are just basic goals we are conceding. A lot of work/recruitment needed in the summer to put this right.

Re: Sheffield Wed v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 16 March 2019, KO 15:00

They are in good form and will fancy themselves for a late play off push. We are short on defenders and would be surprised if Graham starts. I can only see a defeat....

Re: Birthday Bash Boogaloo: Blackburn Rovers v Wigan Athletic, Tue 12 March 2019, KO 19:45

Not a great performance from Rovers, fortunately Wigan were dire. Mcgloire's debut wasn't perfect but was good enough. I'll have him over Williams any day. He just needs to dominate the opposition a tad more, I'm sure that will come, especially if he plays alongside Mulgrew or Lenihan. I lost count...

It was far from pretty, but at this stage it’s the 3 points which is most important. Let’s try and sneak a point on Saturday then we can enjoy the international break.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesborough, Sun 17 Feb 2019, KO 13:00

Wanting a positive reaction on Sunday. Cut out the stupid mistakes and let’s get at them. I’m hearing them have a bit of a defensive dilemma with players out so let’s try and take advantage. My lineup:

Raya
Nyambe
Rodwell
Mulgrew
Bell
Reed
Travis
Bennett
Dack
Armstrong
Graham

Re: Reading v Blackburn Rovers, Wed 13 Feb 2019, KO 20:00

Rodwells been caught out a few times this season with long balls. Potentially highlighting the fact he is a makeshift centre half? If I’m Nyambe I’m either fuming or embarrassed that a midfielder is playing in my position. I know I’m contradicting what I said after He Bristol game about negative com...
