Re: Cycling

I'd say so... subjective of course... but he has shown capable against top class climbers in a breakaway group as well as being able to ride off the GC group as well. Froome, Bardet and even Uran have all been up there... but in any case I was more meaning that it is refreshing to have someone who i...

Re: Cycling

Pretty unlikely... The is a bit of a bump in the ITT course... But nothing like the amount that Bardet would need. I guess Uran could do something but it's been a long time since he has put in that kind of performance against the clock. Although all that said... Sky should really have made more of t...

Re: Cycling

The one who has missed the whole season with Epstein Barr.. and even though he was looking competitive it seems fanciful to give him much chance against Marcel Kittel in the form he was in yesterday.

Re: Cycling

Kittel looks to be on fire at the moment - can't see a half fit cavendish beating him in a sprint at the moment. Think the best chance is after the mountains where he tends to lose it a little.

Re: Cycling

I like the tradition... although I would rather it was a more general respect to rivals rather than being specifically about the yellow jersey. It's more about how you want to win for me rather than keeping with tradition... was interesting to see Andy Schleck speaking before the Luxembourg start......
