Re: Cycling

:D Es did a similar job on Froome... Didn't really buy that he'd made himself a contender, he still need to take 90 seconds on dumolain in the mountains plus march him in the time trial... And then hope that Yates went to pieces. Doesn't really matter now of course. Really knife edge now... I'd be s...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Cheers... good to know.

Essentially then there is no margin in flouting the rules in league one, unless you don't intend to be promoted. Wondering what the chances of us falling back into sanctions is the next time the lumbering beast comes around.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

When do the rules apply? Are we bound by the championship now that the transfer window is open, or by league one until the start of the season? Or I guess something :| in the middle.

Re: England Squad

Think it lacks a creative player in midfield... Would have taken the risk on lallanas fitness... Plus I'd have taken tarkowski and Bertrand instead of Cahill and young.

If he is to win as well he could really do with Chaves losing a bit more time... Having arguably the 2nd best climber in the field as a luxury domestique would be huge in the last week.
Well...

Re: Blackburn Rovers, Season in Review- D3D4football.com

True... but I'd say probably a fair assessment of their value.

Big fan of conway... happy if he stays but don't think he will be more than a fringe player.

Re: Cycling

A great performance so far... I've been looking for some brothers to fill the schleck shaped hole... :D I think dumolain still looms pretty large, even if his form isn't quite there yet, I think it will be tough when the ITT comes around... Yates did well in the prologue but it was a much more climb...

Good for them. The more local teams to play next season the better, makes it much more entertaining.
I guess... Although a league of 23 teams within half an hour's public transport of Sheffield would be better.

Re: Mahoney.

interesting one... not just mahoney who obviously has real talent... but wondering whether there is becoming a general rule that developing young players is better outside the championship. Obviously the top talents will stay in the top leagues in europe... but for greener players I wonder whether a...

Last match of the season, would be brilliant to see a win and a Wigan draw or loss.
I mean yes... but doesn't a wigan draw mean they win the title (unless we win 8-0 or something)?

Re: The Blackburn Rovers 'We Are Going Up' Celebration Thread

In general I'd agree... I'd rather we try to add proper quality in a couple of key places rather than make sweeping marginal upgrades across the park.

Re: 17/18 Kit

I managed to get one of the nice ones a few years ago without a sponsor logo on, I'll be happily wearing that for years Ditto... Although annoyingly it is a weird fit on me. The last one I had that fit properly was the Lonsdale/HSA one which had now been relegated to decorating and gardening duty.

Re: FA receive offer for Wembley

It's a fair point to be honest... audiences have been on the wane as well with Kaepernik, head injuries etc.

That said... if its worth 800 million as an investment then the FA can surely expect something in the region thereof just by hanging on to it another 10 years.
