Re: The US sports thread

Oh dear... Shame as it looks like they've done a really good job.

I think the official one launching might have hurt a lot of them.. but it's a much worse game with no trades.

Re: The US sports thread

I'm also playing normal football in a draft league this year on Togga (in addition to other regular fantasy football). The draft was fun and making sure I'm paying attention when lineups come out each week could get ... interesting. I've seen a lot of the League too. Sorry to drag up an old post - ...

Re: Value of Rovers

The problem with holding clubs up as models is that they're often only a couple of mistakes away from ruin... Last year Southampton were lauded as the ideal and yet this season they've invested badly and not many would say they didn't deserve to go down. Which brings us to the main problem... every ...

Minus wages, bonuses and various fees adds up to the square root of sod all so far... So you'll excuse me if I don't lose any sleep... More importantly (since this was never about selling him in to make a quick buck), we've done alright without him.

Re: General Election

This one seems to be reflecting badly on everyone to be honest... I'm not really clear on why he decided to make this particular event... obviously it is a comfortable organisation for him being more aligned to his personal politics, however it is also in his constituency which makes it a convenient...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

I think it's already pretty uneconomical to run GFX card rigs... as far as bitcoin goes at least. Although I have literally no idea (haven't had anything you could call a gaming PC in 15 years - currently playing UFO: Enemy Unknown because it is the pinnacle of all games ever)... this seems like a g...

So Labour does have a problem but no one should mention it? :yeahright:

Basically this... https://twitter.com/mehdirhasan/status/978384794311643136 FWIW... I find it surprising but not incredulous that Corbyn didn't get the gravity of the mural when he commented... the response was probably not immediate or strong enough in its condemnation. I find the digging through f...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

I'm skeptical whether that will ever happen.... obviously no expert, but I would expect the big banks will look to create their own blockchain tech rather than rely on the existing offerings. Yeah - I saw the early year bump... weirdly google chrome has somewhere flagged cryptocurrencies as an inter...

Although they are all tanking and this was a factor... If major mining nations move towards any sort of Blockchain ban it could well be terminal.

I've been a big supporter of Clement... generally I don't feel like he go the chance at any of his jobs that he probably deserved given his coaching pedigree. That said... the football at Swansea wasn;t great under his tenure... and it didn't appear in any of his jobs that he was taking the club in ...

Meh... Worth remembering it wasn't too long ago we were thinking that the playoffs were a realistic goal... Now they would be a disappointment.
