Re: Blackburn Rovers v Portsmouth Sat 20/10 2017 @ 3 PM

So we remain undefeated against sides in the top half whilst we've struggled to beat the lower half sides... Worrying signs that the teams that sit deep and play for a point, are the sides that have picked up points against us... Wigan next, massive game if we want to be getting automatic promotion...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Plymouth Argyle

Hoping Mowbray mixes it up a little with selection tonight and we see Dack back in the line up with Ward and Whittingham at least dropped

Re: Oldham Athletic v Blackburn Rovers Sat 12/10 2017 @ 3 pm

My first game of the season and my first away game since Big Sam's last game in charge. Holy shit what an awful performance. Elliot Ward should never be putting on another Rovers shit after that display; Mowbray knew he was a weakness and sat the midfield deep to cover this, push to shove it's Ward ...

Re: Rovers vs Gillingham Sat 30/9 - K.O 3pm

People need to remember that our disappointing results this season have come against lower sides. They're putting men behind the ball and it's harder to play a nice game of football when the other team just sits back for 90 minutes. It was great to see us win on Saturday, i was nervous after seeing ...

Re: Paul Downing

I was worried, if we brought another CB in, that we may revert to this back three tripe that really doesn't suit or work for us.

Re: Bradford v Blackburn, Sat 19 August 2017, 15:00

First defeat for Bradford at home since March 2016, a run of 31 games. Nicely coincides with us playing a back four instead of that stupid back three shit that doesn't work for us! Hopefully kick starts our season; roll on mk dons on Saturday

Re: Bradford v Blackburn, Sat 19 August 2017, 15:00

I dread to see that back three again... With the central midfielders we play with that system, it's just far too negative and ends up with us having plenty of possession in our own half and no ideas when we look to actually get the ball forward

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Doncaster Rovers Sat 12 Aug 2017, 15:00

The problem is trying to fit players into positions they shouldn't be in. Nyambe has impressed when played as a right back but not so much as part of the back three. We really seem to lack control of the game when we play in this formation. If we went back to a back four, i can't help but feel we wo...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Would have loved it to be Ripley; heard plenty of good things about him. However, he wasn't going to come and play second fiddle to Raya and i've only just seen the Mowbray quotes on Raya!

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Paul Caddis looks like it's going to happen as well as Samuel. After being linked to Akinde i was hoping we'd pursue that after his goals tally over the last three seasons.

Re: Mahoney.

I've seen him liking posts on Twitter where fans have speculated if Coyle hadn't been there then he may have signed a contract beforehand. Shows what he thought of Coyle either way
