Re: England Squad

My own speculation is whether a decision has been made on what VAR is and isn't used for, so for example for penalties and red cards I think it isn't going to be used and has been already for just penalties. Whilst both incidents on Kane were very obvious penalties I suspect the fear is if you star...

Re: England Squad

Despite the fact that there was still a sizable chunk of the game where it felt like typical tournament England it felt like there was a lot more to be positive about than usual, except for Henderson. The opening 15-20 mins we were excellent and possibly the most exciting attacking play we've seen f...

Re: Pre-Season Matches

Playing Champions League finalists ought to give us a good idea of where we need to make improvements. They won't have everybody, but the players they have will be choice. Good challenge. Not that I'm complaining but this feels more revenue focused than the competitive challenge. But it's really go...

We've gone back in for Joe Rothewell from Oxford having looked at him in January.

Re: England Squad

I've got more faith in Southgate that a lot of our previous managers in recent times. We're going into a tournament with a clear plan and tactical system. He also is happily making the big calls and not pandering to the media, for instance dropping Hart. It's hilarious the usual hacks like McNulty a...

Re: Sack race

Not surprised to see Sam go but slightly surprised by West Ham not giving Moyes a new deal.

Re: Blackburn Rovers, Season in Review- D3D4football.com

Nice review Waco, the only thing I'd add in terms of feedback would be to perhaps give some emphasis to how relegation last season and what has happened over last summer and this season has re-invigorated of the club and very much united the team and fans. We'd been on a downward spiral for a number...

Re: Jack Payne

Payne open to Rovers Return With Huddersfield now safe you'd imagine he is surplus to requirements with them. He's also now referred to us as a great and massive club to that's an improvement. When I've seen him play for us this season he has always impressed, he's comfortable on the ball, always s...

Mowbray's comments on Dack...

"That will be managed through the summer which light-heartedly let’s say it might not be a bad thing from my point of view that we have half an eye on Bradley throughout the summer."

Re: Mahoney.

Feels like a non-starter to me, we couldn't compete with whatever wages he is on at Bournemouth I suspect given they're a Premier League club, but that doesn't rule out the option of a loan to us if we were interested and would work in Bournemouth's favour to see him go back to a club he knows where...

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

Shame I can't be there should be a great day with over 20,000 back in Ewood for this. I've never been overly fussed about winning the league provided we got promoted but if it goes our way then so be it, will also be nice to get one over Cook who has had a couple of digs at us across the season. I t...

Re: The Blackburn Rovers 'We Are Going Up' Celebration Thread

I just hope he gives a start to Travis against Oxford and also give Nuttall some game time again in the first team as Samuel seems to be in a real rut at the moment. Appreciate he needs to play and get a goal to rebuild his confidence but not sure what to make of him looking to next season.
