Re: Fixture list thread.

Desperately lacking a primate option which is a critical element of the fixture list.

Re: Richie Smallwood

Seems a Lowe type from what I've read. Speaking of which, who's going to be the boo boys new posterboy now that Lowe has left? This guy? Henley? So he also can't control or pass a ball very well and just runs around a lot? :hyper: It'll be Steele currently I reckon  I'm worried that we're maki...

Re: General Election

I think it's good that he is trying to open up a narrative around this issue but he probably should have avoided talking about any actual solution because that just becomes a very messy business. It isn't even just the land banking, you could add to the debate the vast number of new build flats sat ...

Re: General Election

They're only polls but not surprised to see Labour going ahead of the Tories, another general election would be really interesting. But the Tories will obviously avoid that at all costs.

Re: General Election

Probably, looks like Crosby has lost his touch.

With all of the that financial backing and the press on your side it's quite impressive to fuck it up so spectacularly, especially when it's apparently a sure thing against Corbyn.

Re: General Election

I think you're being overly negative about what Corbyn has achieved in a 7 week campaign having had the national press ripping him to pieces for 2 years. An apparent failure in waiting he's gained 3 million voters since 2015, taking seats off the Tories and there were plenty of close run marginals a...

Sucker!

You should be shitting yourself. Seriously. They're not there for a giggle...
Little bit of an overreaction.

By that logic I take it you've stopped going to gigs then?

Re: Trump .... you're on

Precisely. On Sunday weirdly I was out in my park and for an hour or so could hear multiple sirens and visibly notice more police generally on the roads. But literally due to what he said carried on as normal. Funny that Andy Burnham after the Manchester attack said the best response was to all work...

Re: Trump .... you're on

Trump has taken a small chunck of what he said, taken it out of context to use for his own political agenda. And that's just for starters. I live in London and bike to work either over London Bridge or Southwark and live east in Bethnal Green. Since Saturday night I am seeing and hearing a much grea...

Re: Trump .... you're on

May's reluctance to comment on Trump directly just demonstrates everything you need to know about where her priorities lie.

It's disgusting really.

I'm actually at a complete loss as to how anyone can vote Tory on Thursday.

Re: Suicide bomb in Manchester

I was just south of Borough tube drinking with friends at a big outdoor food market place when it all happened. Little freaky being near the general vicinity and seeing so many Police and ambulance crews tearing up the road towards it all.

Re: General Election

I thought Caroline Lucas was the only person last night who came across really well across the whole debate. She was excellent. That's a surprise, she's usually the maddest hatter of the lot of them. Don't know what she was like last night but Leanne Wood is the only one who seems sane and normal t...

It's easy to be excellent when you have zero chance of being held to account for what you say, mind.
