Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

Without getting too far ahead of ourselves I'd also add that we haven't had a single season in the Championship since the initial relegation where we didn't have a mess off the pitch with the club and divisions, anger and discontent amongst the fans. There’s a large chunk of fans who have settled d...

Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

They had a special section for it and a guy called Phillip Lingard who'd gone through the published accounts, he seemed to talk knowledgeably but I can't claim to know who's who with that site.

I know of Ian Herbert by name and know of Kamy but they didn't say anything that seemed that outrageous.

Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

Promotion is looking good now which was our main objective. What I will say however, is we need to improve considerably to ensure we stay in the Championship next season. Let’s not kid ourselves, there is a big gulf between The Championship and League 1. A number of players starting last night are ...

Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

Dack is Dack and we saw him back towards his best again tonight, but a nod to Williams who after missing that sitter at Bristol had a big hand in 2 of the goals. Also Graham just showed all of his experience and class tonight.

Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

Sounds like Evans will be fit to play today which should be a boost and interesting comments Mowbray has said on Dack that he seems to be over his hamstring niggles and was back to showing his best in training yesterday. So hopefully he's due a performance that's made him the best player in the leag...

Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

Yeah if Shrewsbury won all 4 games we need 7 points, so two wins and a draw from our remaining games. We gave them 2 chances two claw back 4 points and they didn't take them, so hopefully their loss to Charlton is the kick up the arse we needed to refind our mojo on the pitch, particularly our free ...

Re: Bristol ROVERS v Blackburn ROVERS, Sat 14 April 2018, KO 15:00

In complete hope I'd wanted Charlton to get something tonight but didn't think it would happen. Amazing result. It changes the complexion of our game on Thursday now for. It's gone from a very high pressured potential must win to a positive opportunity to turn the screw a bit more on Shrewsbury and ...

Re: Bristol ROVERS v Blackburn ROVERS, Sat 14 April 2018, KO 15:00

Was very gutting to see the last kick of the game go in for Bristol. It all hinged on Williams not putting the game to bed which was unfortunate and having initially cleared the danger from the throw it was a sweetly stuck volley which we couldn't have done too much about. We can only see what Shrew...

Re: Bristol ROVERS v Blackburn ROVERS, Sat 14 April 2018, KO 15:00

The good thing is that is how Mowbray appears to be managing things with the team, just each game at a time. I think it's just comforting that we have the 4 point cushion, effectively 5 due to goal difference. Not sure I could cope if right now it was already neck and neck.

Re: Bristol ROVERS v Blackburn ROVERS, Sat 14 April 2018, KO 15:00

I think Wigan will win the league quite easily, although that could easily change, but I sort of expect them to not drop any more points or at worst maybe end up with a draw in on of their tougher games, perhaps Rotherham. But the target was promotion and winning the league would have been an added ...

Re: NEW DATE - Gillingham v Blackburn, Tue 10 April 2018, KO 19:25

Yeah Rich Sharpe notes in his match report how the tempo increased with the introduction of the subs, which it did and led to our best 10 minutes or so in the game and our best chances (Toppers can you check that as well please? ;) ). It was Payne turning sharply only on the edge of the box that won...
