Re: Are you satisfied with the results thus far?

At the moment losing Dack would be absolutely fatal to our season. It's difficult to see any possible upside... for the player as well, a move to a premiership bench would be a terrible idea. It's all rumours but there has been the reported WBA coming back in January with a £20m bid as well as Leic...

Re: Are you satisfied with the results thus far?

I think you can only be pleased with our results so far with the bonus of being frustrated in a positive sense that it could have been more points. That’s mainly the Ipswich game as we should have taken it to 1-3 and killed the game and their goal was a total fluke and Villa as it was a soft free ki...

Re: Bolton v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 6 Oct 2018, KO 17:30

So pleased to get the 3 points. It wasn’t pretty in the second but that doesn’t really matter. It keeps the feeling that we’ve made a very encouraging start to life back in the championship. Wouldn’t have sat well to stew over a derby loss to Bolton over the international break. Really liked how the...

Re: Are you satisfied with the results thus far?

Yeah and I should just qualify that I’m still pleased with Brereton, Palmer and Armstrong it’s just that the hope is to see them chip in with some goals, also bearing in mind that Brereton hasn’t had many minutes. Yesterday was Dack again and he’s been unbelievable so far this season. As far as Mowb...

Re: Are you satisfied with the results thus far?

I think it’s been a great start all things considered given that we’re only just back at this level. It’s also hard not to think that it could easily be 6 wins and 3 draws and those additional 6 points would have us right up towards to top of the table with a quarter of the season played. Win this w...

Re: Bolton v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 6 Oct 2018, KO 17:30

Feel like we can go and win this one.

Hopefully Lowe is as shit at screening the centre backs and passing a football as he was for us, Dack should have a field day.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield United, Wed 3 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

I wouldn’t want to lay blame at our players. Sheff Utd play a very specific system and are well drilled. We just weren’t up to it. Couple of moments could have gone our way but we deserved to lose. For me the only frustration is the dropped points from our draws. I’ve got now issue with us coming up...

Was fairly convinced we’d struggle tonight and so it proved. No dramas just beaten but a very well coached side.

Very much second best so far. Not as bad as the Derby game but we need to get a grip of their system.

Team I thought it might be just Williams instead of Mulgrew.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield United, Wed 3 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

Is Evans a doubt?

If so I'd opt to but Reed alongside Smallwood and have Rothwell out wide. Sheffield United are going to be very tough opponents so I think we need to be as defensively solid as possible.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield United, Wed 3 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

Expecting a line up along the lines of: ------------------Raya Bennett Lenihan Mugrew Bell ----------Smallwood Evans Reed--------Dack-----Armstrong --------------Graham Interesting comments from Mowbray on their style of play, playing 5 at the back with overlaps high up the pitch, if we can win the ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield United, Wed 3 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

I wish we were playing Wednesday, Sheffield United look very good at the moment.

Nyambe will be out so assuming Bennett slots in at RB which leaves a spot free for wide attacking midfield to accompany Dack and Reed. Guessing it'll be one of Armstrong, Palmer, Rotherwell or Brereton.

Re: Carabao Cup: Bournemouth v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 25 Sept 2018, KO 19:45

Good to know. I'd be surprised if we appeal it. Mulgrew is back for Saturday so it's a suspension we can cope with.

Have to agree with Mowbray I thought their pen was very soft.
