Re: Paul Lambert has agreed to become Blackburn Rovers' new manager

Pleased with Lambert and Irvine taking the reigns. I believe they will get more out of the team than Bowyer could and both have a wealth of experience of the game. Only other person I would have been pleased with would be Pearson but he is too much of a loose cannon and we don't need any more negati...

Re: Bowyer leaves the club

Great job stabilising the club but I feel he was tactically inept at times. Makes sense to do it now during a break and with a number of unattached managers around.

Absolutely woeful defending yet again. Every goal we have conceded over the past year or so have been down to poor defending. Another match where we need to play catch-up!

Re: Jordan Rhodes

Skysports believe the Rhodes bid to be in the region of £8milliom. Why on earth would Venkys sell for that value?? I know FFP is in place and we need money but surely Rhodes is worth £15million when you look at other transfers this summer. What is most annoying is that some decent replacements have ...

Re: Rovers v Cardiff, Fri 8th August 2014, 19:45

Fair result - few clear cut chances but we dominated possession and didn't concede a late goal like so many games last year. Baptiste played well on his debut in my opinion (in both positions). Bowyer doesn't seem to like using all available subs when some more pace going forward was needed in the l...

Re: Appleton's successor

Neil Warnock is not my favourite manager but will be leaving Leeds at the end of te season and has vast experience of managing at this level. Would actually prefer him over some of the other likely candidates.

Re: Blackburn vs Wigan, Mon 7 May, 20:00

Couldn't agree more, if we had survived this season we would have to put up with this all over again. On another positive we have a strong reserve/academy which has always produced good players who should be given a chance in the championship. Clear out the dead wood who have been useless all season...

Re: Relegation watch

It is looking bleak for us, those 5 games were crucial as there were some 'winnable' games there. Only hope we can get something at spurs and beat wigan. Spurs are poor at the moment but at home they will probably turn us over. On a positive side at least we face a Chelsea side who play in the champ...

Re: The Steve Kean / management thread

We have become the laughing stock of the league and I can't see anything changing even if we appoint a new manager. The way I see it is that the problems run throughout the club. We have no hierarchy in place to point the club in the right direction coupled with a management staff with no prior expe...

Different week same story, why does our back 4 drop so deep and allow teams to shoot from 20 yards?

Can't see any positives at the moment, even if Kean goes who will come in? Im struggling to find any decent unemployed managers who would be interested in this shambles

Re: Norwich vs Rovers 29 Oct 2011

I can't see any other team conceding 2 goals in the last few minutes from the game as we did today. The worrying thing for me is the fact that we have conceded very late goals in 2 consecutive games. I can't see us keeping a clean sheet against anyone at the minute.
