Re: General Election

Though I do take umbrance about it being "slung down the drain". It's going to go towards public services (in Northern Ireland) which is exactly what you want? You know as well as I do that the Barnett Formula already allocates money across the home nations, this is in addition to that and is is qu...

the first two are in the twilight of their careers - probably more interested in a decent wage/contract than aspiring to player in a higher league.
Nice and positive. You'll fit in around here 😉

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Is the lack of talk recently regarding potential departures (Mulgrew, Graham, Lenihan, Nyambe, Bennet, Ward) as postive, if not more, than our recent couple of (imo good) signings? Or are these, partly due to the fact we're now in league One, the kinds of players who are snapped up by Championship c...

Re: Police [don't] invade Equadorian embassy [yet].

Charges dropped  You mean arrest warrant dropped because of the impasse created by him hiding away in the Ecuadorian embassy, making it impossible for the Swedish police to extradite and formally charge him. The allegation still stands against him and if he goes back to Sweden before 2020, the...

Re: Value of Rovers

Anything in this story about two big accounting firms being at Ewood this week? And any truth in something I read somewhere...... that FFP operates differently in league one. So venkeys could potentially put money toward transfers without breaking rules? I'm asking this question completely naively w...

The strange thing was the 100s of MPs who voted in favour of triggering something they think will be fundamentally a bad thing for the country. Quite bizarre. If only politicians were that simple... Firstly, they're elected to represent their constituents, not themselves, so should be prepare...
