Re: FA Cup: Blackburn Rovers v Newcastle, Tue 15th Jan, KO 19:45

3 terrible goals to concede. One was offside but still poor keeping from Raya. Really hope Newcastle get relegated.

First goal deflection, but should have been closed down. Second goal, just shocking defending! Lenihan and Nymabe caught out. Steep mountain to climb now.

Only got to see the goals, and not the full highlights. Anybody know how Travis and Rothwell did? They are 2 that I would have liked to see involved more in games.

Re: Boxing Day Bash: Leeds United v Blackburn Rovers, Wed 26 Dec 2018, KO 15:00

We are bottlers. We need proper leaders and people who can actually defend. This is very frustrating!
Tony should absolutely F the lads out of it after the game.

Re: Boxing Day Bash: Leeds United v Blackburn Rovers, Wed 26 Dec 2018, KO 15:00

Looks like a back 5 today.
Raya
Nymabe Mulgrew Lenihan Williams Bell
Rodwell Evans
Dack Armstrong
Graham

Reed on the bench is very surprising. And Rothwell takes his familiar place.

Doesn’t seem like there has been any improvement. Wigan hitting the woodwork twice. Pretty grim!

Judging by reports, there has been no response from the Saturday result. 1 down.

To come back from 2 down is great. Was very impressed with the attitude in the 2nd half. Rothwell and Evans’ energy in midfield was excellent. Let’s hope the injuries aren’t too bad and we get some bodies in on loan.

Why is Palmer out? Didn’t see any injury news on him. Lack of depth in the squad being shown now.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Just heard on Irish radio, that Graham Burke is set to sign for Preston, about 300k. Makes sense for him as PNE have loads of Irish players and a good load from the League of Ireland.

Re: Blackburn v Wigan Athletic, Sunday 4th March 2018, KO 12 high noon

Routine??? Clanger??? Wow very harsh in my view. Just watched it again and how you can say it wasn’t a great free kick is beyond me. The pace and whip on it was fantastic. Bodies in the way and the bouce makes it very hard for Raya. Agree, it was one of those free kicks that are a balls for keepers...

Re: Blackburn v Wigan Athletic, Sunday 4th March 2018, KO 12 high noon

Thought we really let them back into the game, they scored 2 goals without really threatening too much. Lenihan looked solid and aggressive which is good to see. Main thing, we didn’t lose and are still top, need to continue to pick up the wins now starting next week. And hope Wigan and Shrewsbury m...

Re: Portsmouth v Blackburn Rovers, Tue 13/2 2018, KO 19:45

This is the team I would like to see. Hearing great things about Travis, and would like to see Bennett pushed up further. Opted for Bell at LB as seems to offer more going forward. I probably wont be anywhere close with this! Just hoping for the win! Raya Nymabe Mulgrew Wiliams Bell Travis Smallwood...
