Re: Bristol ROVERS v Blackburn ROVERS, Sat 14 April 2018, KO 15:00

If only we’d played better Tuesday and today. We’d have been clear of Wigan. I have to say the end of our season is like the crazy end of Donny’s last league 1 title a few years back. They stumbled at the last, fatigue being a big factor and despite being third going into the last game they ended up...

Re: War with Russia then?

Without the backing of the UN or parliament and before any findings from the chemical weapon inspectors to verify events in Douma. If the US, Britain and France knew about these chemical weapons plants in advance, especially after Syria and Russia apparently decommissioned them last year, why not ge...

Hopefully just a precaution. No point risking him further.

Re: General Election

She was in Iran ON HOLIDAY not teaching anyone journalism, which is precisely why she’s now still in prison in Iran and not home with her family.

Iran itself has quoted Boris’ actual words “teaching journalism” in court against her.

Re: General Election

A blithering buffoon who should have been out of a job two incidents ago, yet he’s still foreign secretary. Not forgetting a young mum is still in prison in Iran over something he said, that was completely made up. She should have been home in Britain with her family months ago. That story got hushe...

I literally celebrated that like it was my own team! There’s few things I hate more than arrogance so it’s great to see the Pie Eaters served a huge portion of humble pie.

Re: Blackburn v Bradford, Thur, 29 March 2018, KO 18:45

The way I see it, assuming we win out the rest of the season, the only teams who could give Wigan a scare and give us the title are Pompey away and Rotherham away (though the latter have fallen away recently). I’d really love us to win the title, firstly as a Rovers fan given all the hurt of recent ...

Re: Today's random stupidity story...

I’m eagerly waiting for the arse to drop out of this crypto currency crap so that I can actually buy a graphics card at a half-reasonable price. I’ve heard Nvidia are producing mining specific cards (rumoured to be anyway) in their next-gen range which may take the strain off gamers like me but I’m ...

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

Maybe we should have loaned a better manager. And mascot. If our mascot had been designed by someone with some talent, who knows where we could have been. Is it a coincidence that our success matches having a quality mascot? I THINK NOT. Bad mascot design killed our club blah blah blah. *cough I de...

Whatever happened to Caddis, I don’t remember him making any glaring errors. Was it just Nyambe reaching fitness that’s kept him out of the team?

Re: Hubble Images and Space Stuff

Hehehe yeah a bit of an oxymoron but Elon Musk himself said he actually expected an explosion on the launch pad or just above, so understandable really that they didn’t hold much hope in reusing them. Sounds like the whole exercise was more of a demonstration to the US military that they could put s...

Re: Hubble Images and Space Stuff

Yeah I didn’t realise at the time but the centre rocket of the three failed to reignite two of the three landing engines and as such hit the water just alongside the drone ship at over 300 mph. Total loss but it was never intended to be reused so not too critical. It caused quite a bit of damage to ...

Re: Hubble Images and Space Stuff

True, nobody ever masters spaceflight. Thinking back Apollo 1, Challenger and Columbia showed us that. They are doing a hell of a job though. What a flight that was! I’m absolutely stunned it even flew but to do it without a hitch and to see the two boosters land synchronised side by side was just s...
