Re: The Computer Games Thread

Mr BB I’m a huge Kerbal fan. Best thing to do is start small, perform science experiments around the space station and on Kerbal first to get enough science to unlock better components. Then go for space and re-entry and finally orbit. From there I’ve managed a mun Landing (with difficulty) and have...

Re: Cycling

Say what you like about him but Froome is making today's stage one of the most spectacular days of racing in modern times (EuroSport's words not mine!) Lone attack, 80km's out, nearly 2 minute gap on the virtual leader Dumoulin (Yates has completely imploded today and is nearly 20 minutes off the pa...

Re: Where are they now?

I too find Rylan fucking irritating but I wouldn’t write a stupid tweet like that about it. Of all the places to work and be irritated by LGBT culture.

Re: General Election

I compare it to thalolimide because of the reported health risks owing to the chemicals used getting into the drinking water/the water table that would effect everyone in an area. There’s reported cases of drinking water being flammable due to the methane present, earthquakes caused by the processes...

Re: General Election

It’s a very good point B.B. it seems that it takes a perceived slight for people to trawl back through years of social media to find dirt. They did the same to Corbyn, the same to Thornberry. The Labour right have used it to their advantage in the mainstream media for months/years now. Going as far ...

Re: General Election

He’s a very right wing Labour rep with a history of obscene tweets and even anti-democratic actions, like being photographed hand-picking questions that were supposed to be random during the Labour hustlings for the vacant seat in his constituency. To what end who knows but there is a lot of discont...

Re: Cycling

Could the preseason pressure on Froome and Team Sky be finally showing? Performances haven’t been great all spring by any riders, save flashes at times and although Froome usually isn’t at peak performance at this time (peaking for the Tour de France each season) he’s been shockingly poor so far. Tw...

One thing I have seen comes not from us but from the Hibs scuttlebutt. Hopefully this tweet thing works!

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

As things worked out the one game that stuck in my mind with regret is the Bristol game. Literally needed one hoof downfield and the game was over. Could well have been winners not runners up. Ah well, back where we want to be for now. Now to keep building and not do a Bolton, hopefully keep the big...

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

I saw first hand one topless yob trying to intimidate the Oxford players, getting right in their faces and Karl Robinson to his credit, confronted the cretin. I like a manager who defends his players. I believe he grabbed him by the throat before a security guard separated them. Probably get fined f...

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

Guys I’m driving to Ewood today for the game but the last time I drove through was a poorly attended midweek game against Scunthorpe in the league cup and parking wasn’t an issue. Any tips on where the best places to park are? Also is there much to do around Ewood now? It was desolate a year or two ...

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

Donny have been involved in some pretty ridiculous season ending games in recent years. Wouldn’t put it too far out of mind that they could win. Especially if Wigan field a weakened side.

That said they haven’t scored a goal since god were a lad so chances don’t look good.

Re: Charlton v Blackburn, Sat 28 April 2018, KO 15:00

Trust us to put out a weaker squad, play well but go behind to a crazy deflection the same day Wigan (so far) are losing.

If Wigan do lose and we can’t win, those lads are gonna be kicking themselves!

Re: FA receive offer for Wembley

I was never in favour of Wembley being the national stadium, I much preferred the “England on Tour” games. It opened up th games for a much wider audience. I realise what Shad Khan wants to do but it’s dangerous. American football is VERY popular right now but it was in the 80s before a lull. They’v...
