Re: 2017 - 2018 Fixtures

I will say it now...
we need to have high expectations. Does anyone else look at this list and wonder how we can possibly win less than half of these?

Reality will probably be a brutal kick in the privates, but seriously, Rovers should get 100 pts.

Re: Richie Smallwood

Mowbray told him its gonna be hard getting in the squad, because we have all these really talented players.

Who is Mowbray managing now?

Re: Peter Whittingham

Really glad we got Whittingham. If we can hang onto Bennett & Conway, that gives us a lot of creativity in midfield.

I'm kinda-sorta stoked about getting the season underway!

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I assumed because of his age (32), he's running out of opportunities. He's played a long time, much of it in PL.

He should be useful to us.

Michael Eisner buying Pompey?

If he wants to buy an old, established team, with gobs of history, cups, etc, maybe someone should suggest a certain team in Lancashire :yeahright:

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I wonder about Mark Davies or Liam Trotter- would either benefit our club?

Re: Some token points for Mowbray

Well, today's announcement is welcome. Mowbray appears to have the owners backing now.

Good deal, some continuity & stability going forward may be jyst what the doctor ordered for Blackburn Rovers.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Sorted alphabetically, the only time we'll be top of the league  I'm not so sure, Hudson. Blackburn Rovers could be boss of League 1. Of course, if we lose what few remaining quality players we have, Mowbray could be battling to stay in the top half. I will be optimistic, & say Rovers finish i...
