Training room already resembles a MASH unit. Not good this early in the season.

Re: Bradford v Blackburn, Sat 19 August 2017, 15:00

Darth, I noticed that as well (Millwall & Bolton off to poor start). Bolton released a lot of experienced players. Perhaps we can at least make a decent showing against Burnley. Maybe a raucous home crowd can offset what probably will be a huge following for them. With so many new midfielders, a rou...

Re: Bradford v Blackburn, Sat 19 August 2017, 15:00

Nice 1-0 victory, playing 4 at the back. Unfortunately Nyambe did not play, nor did Graham. I'll take the points any way we can get them. Thrilled by the win, in front of big Bradford crowd (21,000). Tight defense, & goal provided by an older player (Conway) to one of the new additions for the fini...

Re: Defending.

Ah, but now we've signed them, in the future they'll have been a former player under Mowbray! And then, if you take certain interpretations of the many world theory, and assume that all of time has already happened cause it all sort of happens at once, then they're all former players under Mowbray!...

Re: Coventry City v Blackburn Tue 8 2017, 14:45

Any win is a good win. Coventry are league two and made six changes from their previous game starting line up. You would expect Rovers to win well and they did. Good to see Samuel get his first goal for Rovers and with the introduction of Gladwin, Chapman and Doyle it could have been four or five o...

Looks like this will be a high-scoring affair. Glad Smallwood is on the board.

Re: Defending.

ttt

Something tells me Mowbray is scanning list of his former players, to see if there are any out of work defenders.

Did we sign anyone this summer who was NOT a former player under Mowbray?

Re: Southend v Blackburn Sat 5 August 2017, 15:00

Looks like life is not going to be as easy as the bookies and many pundits thought it would be for us. At the end of the first half it did not appear to be a question of going back up, but of staying up. The second half is somewhat better but this team still has a long way to go to respectability. ...

Re: Southend v Blackburn Sat 5 August 2017, 15:00

We had a whole new midfield today. I don't think anybody was displeased in Raya at the end of last season. It was probably a good thing to keep Danny Graham.

Time to revisit that threa on defending...
