Re: Ipswich Town v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 4 August 2018, KO 15:00

Well there you have it, a point for both and each supporters seem content. Yes it must have been painful when one of our new kids got the second moments from the end but I think some hours after the game a draw would seem acceptable to both. Our primary focus for this season would be stability, we h...

Re: Ipswich Town v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 4 August 2018, KO 15:00

I see your expected team for tomorrow but don't recognise many players. May be stating something obvious from someone who doesn't watch Rovers on any consistent basis but you'll probably have some new additions for the new season on top of already existing players. Hasn't the transfer deadline passe...

Re: Pre-Season Matches

I was looking for a match day thread for next Saturday but seems you haven't provided one just yet. Not a problem, it's that our own website already has supplied one for next weekends fixture. Yes, I'd agree, it seems a bit premature. Anyway, that victory over Everton was quite outstanding. Yes they...

Re: Sack race

Tony Mowbray has been mentioned a lot since McCarthy's boring arse saw the exit but he's not a leading candidate. Now I respect Mowbray a lot, he was a fine serviceman for us and held in high regard by a number of the fans but I wouldn't want him back to manage the team. Just couldn't see it working...

Re: The Blackburn Rovers 'We Are Going Up' Celebration Thread

Well you made it back and that's good. A team like Blackburn shouldn't be in the third league of English football and you made it back at the first attempt. Think there's still a chance of finishing first on the last weekend but you've secured promotion first and foremost. Look forward to being back...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

Going to apologise on our players behalf today, they let you down - they let US down - in actual fact for a time they did play to their abilities and came close to scoring but once the first goal went in they basically rolled over and accepted the loss. Really it should be us down there and facing L...

Re: Cardiff fan wishing you boys all the best

I'll second what the original poster stated in that many people would seem not to realise that Blackburn are a big club and seem only to remember the 1995 League Championship accolade, ignorant to the fact the club was successful years before and winning domestic honours. The time is almost upon us ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Aston Villa 2: Electric Boogaloo

If you had told me back in August I'd be commenting on our final game of the season that could prove the difference between Blackburn staying in the Championship League and falling into League One, I wouldn't have believed it. Unfortunately that is the situation you now face and furthermore if you h...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v. Bristol City.

Will be honest and say was keeping an eye on this games progress at certain times this afternoon. Was surprised when Bristol went ahead but you got back into it and sorry there wasn't a winning goal for Rovers but there's still every chance the team can stay up this season. Not sure of who you have ...

Re: Rovers vs Forest, 14th April 2017

Rovers fans must be feeling much better tonight than they were this time yesterday. Not only a huge win for Blackburn today, but a defeat for one of the other relegation concern teams this evening that provides a very good opportunity for the club to stay up this season. And if we can beat Burton Al...

Re: Probability of relegation

I hope Blackburn can stay in the Championship this season and there's nothing disingenuous about that statement. Would be a shame to see a club of such stature fall into into the third tier of the Football League and with it, one of the founder members of the football league if can remember correctl...

Lincoln showing Rovers how its done in the FA Cup tonight. Well done to them even though it did mean stopping Tom Lawrence by any means possible without getting sent off. Last night was abysmal. I watched the whole bloody thing as did a great many of our support, and for all our trouble, we get put...

Re: Ipswich v Blackburn, Saturday 14th Jan 2017, K.O: 15:00

That was much better from us today. Here at Ipswich it's either one of two things with games : we either mess up completely and hand points to the opposition on a plate or there's a considerable improvement and we can actually grind out results. We are honest enough to admit we're far from a good si...

Re: Millwall to be relocated in Kent?

They could always ground share with West Ham at the Olympic Stadium :hyper: I would liked to have seen how this news was received on their House of Fun fan site but it stopped allowing new registered members and lurkers some time back ? Not sure what to make of this item, the key word is "may" i.e. ...

Re: Ipswich v Blackburn, Saturday 14th Jan 2017, K.O: 15:00

So, you're facing an opposition who very nearly went out of last weekends FA Cup at home to non-league opposition (not to mention not having gone beyond Round 3 itself for eight years) A team where supporters are in unanimous decision in wanting a change of manager, owner, style of play, playing per...
