Re: Blackburn Rovers v Plymouth Argyle

Totally bewildered going home last night. Not for the first time this season we peppered the opposition goal but the ball just wouldn't go in. Having said that, our shooting was woeful.Every time we were in a shooting position it was simply a matter of how far into the stands the ball would end up. ...

Blackburn Rovers v Plymouth Argyle

If we don't win this game the R word will loom once again. TM, don't let them stroke the ball around, and continually pass back to Raya from the start as though we are two goals up. The casual way our players approach games drives me up the wall, so PLEASE let us see a bit of urgency on the pitch to...

Re: Rovers vs Gillingham Sat 30/9 - K.O 3pm

Agree with Gaz - one of the most boring matches I've ever been to. Rovers style of play is far too casual , they play as though they are three goals up- no urgency, just stroking the ball around, crossing across the field 7/8 times before launching a route one. The back passing epidemic in our midfi...

Re: Where are they now?

Adam Henley and Jay Spearing are training with Blackpool. I hope Henley gets sorted, can't help thinking he had a rough deal at Ewood.

Re: Rovers vs Rotherham United - Tue 26/9 2017 @ 19:45

One of the most frustrating games I've ever seen. We pummelled the Rotherham goal, but the ball just wouldn't go in. Inches past the post, hit the post, hit the bar and then half way through the second half we almost threw it - Rotherham went berserk when they put the ball in the net. Unfortunately....

I still don't think we've seen Rovers hit top form yet. When we do, some team is going to leave Ewood with their goal difference severely damaged.

Re: Rochdale v Blackburn, Saturday 9 September 2017, 15:00

Listened to the match on Radio Lancs. Sounds as if our two centre backs were not on the best of form - Rochdale's atrocious finishing let us off the hook. Let's not get carried away, I feel that until the three lads missing from the back four return, we'll always be vulnerable to a strong attack. No...

I'd sooner have a fit Charlie Mulgrew than either Hanley or Duffy.

Re: Charlie Mulgrew

The way things are shaping up, Mulgrew (on a free!) could be one of our best ever value signings.
I hope young Houghton is given a chance, he impressed when he played last season.

Re: Sam Hart

Williams hasn't impressed me so far this season, competition will be good for him.
