No, they want Labour to throw the money away... ;) Also, I find it bizarre that people who want a different government are up in arms about...

Indeed. He suggested it was our fault at the time because we'd had the audacity to stop when the car in front of us stopped for the traffic lights. :dunce:

Re: Cars

Young lad ran into the back of my car last week at some traffic lights (which were on red). Not being a heartless swine, I said I'd let him know about the quote since he offered to pay himself to keep his premium down, but fully expected him to change his mind when I got it. But no, he seems to thin...

And yet she looks like Abe Lincoln compared to most of May's new cabinet.

And the EU continue their aggressive stance over exit talks. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/11/eu-threatens-year-long-delay-in-brexit-talks-over-uks-negotiating-stance This is why "no deal", or in real terms the default trading agreements, is actually a viable solution. Re: General Election

It says how much Corbyn has lowered expectations that finishing with over 50 seats less than a wretched Tory campaign is considered a success.

Part of me is hoping that we get this so-called "Coalition of Chaos" as it actually sounds like a group of super villains akin to Suicide Squad or the Legion of Doom  Even if you add Labour, Lib Dems, Green, SNP and Plaid Cymru together, they're not going to have more than the Tories. Re: General Election

May didn't get a mandate, and lost the Tory majority; Corbyn didn't make the sweeping gains he promised and is still so short he'd have to make a ridiculously convuluted coalition to form a government. Nicola Sturgeon has been firmly told that her plans for a second Scottish referendum aren't so po...

Re: General Election

And even if you thought it was a waste of time, you can't really argue that it wasn't a mistake not to go, given the polling gap has reduced dramatically after the debate and with a focus on your own lack of attendance. Big miscalculation. Polling data from when? The YouGov one showing the gap down...
