Re: Current Events/News

Took me a moment to realise the connection.

I guess they only thing I'd say is it's like calling ISIS "terrorists", the targets will receive it as a positive rather than a negative. Just calling them "shitheads" is probably more effective... :yeahright:

Send any two of Fisher, Albinson or Dillon out on loan and see how they do.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Doncaster Rovers Sat 12 Aug 2017, 15:00

Raya Nyambe/Caddis, Wharton/Lenihan, Mulgrew/Lenihan, Williams Chapman/Feeney, Smallwood, Evans/Whittingham, Bennett/Conway Dack/Bennett/Samuel, Graham/Antonsson You'd think fielding 20 players would give us an advantage, but with this lot I'd expect an increased chance of calamitous own goals... :...

Re: Coventry City v Blackburn Tue 8 2017, 14:45

It's kinda weird; happy that we won, then sad at the realisation that beating a League 2 side is now something to be happy about rather than take for granted. At least from the highlights and the stats we looked the stronger team. When have we ever been able to take a win against lower league oppos...

Re: Defending.

Ah, but now we've signed them, in the future they'll have been a former player under Mowbray! And then, if you take certain interpretations of the many world theory, and assume that all of time has already happened cause it all sort of happens at once, then they're all former players under Mowbray!...

Re: Southend v Blackburn Sat 5 August 2017, 15:00

The "marquee" signing of Whittingham reminds me of when we signed Danny Murphy following relegation from the Premiership, when we were also tipped to bounce straight back up. Or maybe Mark Hughes... Murphy wasn't a bad signing on paper, and could have worked out had we got everything else in...

No real surprise. The gap between divisions is not so great that you can be awful at one level but brilliant one down. Wake up call for all I feel.
