Re: Calling all parents

Now you seem to be doing a hatty and ignoring what's said to you, so good day to you.

Re: Calling all parents

I think it is an either/or. There's only so much space in a hospital for beds. I'd rather on a maternity ward they dedicated that space to new mums. I'd rather they didn't spend budget on free drinks for Dads compared to all the other things they could spend money on to assist with ensuring that th...

Re: Calling all parents

And no qualms at all about sleeping in a chair or paying for a coffee. Beds for the new mums, innit. Bizarre response - it's not a question of either/or? Is there any good reason why providing care for mum necessitates a lack of hospitality towards partners? It all seems a bit 19th century to me st...

Re: Calling all parents

Firstly, congratulations! But 9 days? I hope mum and baby are okay. I thought we had enough being brought in to be induced at Sunday 10pm (Mrs RTT's waters broke the night before without baby making much of a move). They didn't get on with the induction until 9:30am Monday, then insisted on keeping...

To be fair, you've clearly spent years on here arguing with yourself across a couple of accounts 😉 :D

Re: Calling all parents

Congrats RTT, best of luck to you all! Not to hijack the thread (again) but my own little girl was born on 30th October, and managed to give us an exhausting 9 day stay in hospital in the process. She's amazing, but I hope you're getting a bit more sleep than we are! She's picked up an annoying hab...

Re: Sack race

To then attribute blame to someone you don't like anyway doesn't make your opinion more valid. Eh? Unlike some, I don't decide whether I like someone or not on day 1 and obstinately stick to that opinion regardless of all evidence to the contrary. My dislike of Lambert has been formed based on his ...

Re: Sack race

Well you're already treating each transfer window, the previous January and the summer, as independent without accounting for the cumulative effect of repeated windows where a player is actively trying to leave. It was also the first window after we'd already sold our other 2 main star players whic...

Re: Sack race

Not spinning anything. You're saying Rhodes wanted to go in previous transfer windows - so why didn't he? What changed between the previous transfer windows and the one when he left? Only one key factor - the manager. And before the deal was even completed, Lambert did an interview saying we didn't ...

Re: Sack race

Eventhough Rhodes had wanted to leave in previous transfer windows before Lambert was at the club? If anything, that reinforces my point - there was plenty of speculation that Rhodes was going to be sold in prior transfer windows, but the significant difference when he actually went was tha...
