As for the Ice Bowl, that was just plain silly that they didn't call it off, it was clearly dangerous and harmful to fans, players and officials.
Those NHL guys would be shaking their heads in disbelief at you...

And to be fair, football matches go ahead in conditions many other sports would consider unplayable.

I don't know what facilities Crewe Alexandra have for avoiding frozen pitches, but comparing them to NFL teams is perhaps missing a crucial point?

Re: Energy companies!!!

If you'd settled final bills with the utilities companies, does that mean you told them you'd moved out? Otherwise it's not making sense to me that you're not still getting bills in the mail, there's no reason for them to stop just because you've left the house empty (I'm now in that position with m...

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn v Crewe, Sun 03-12 2017

What sort of name is Ng anyway? Its more Monty Python than surname... :yeahright: Ng (pronounced [ŋ̍]; English approximation often /ˈɪŋ/ or /ˈɛŋ/) is a Cantonese, Shanghainese and Hakka transliteration of the Chinese surnames 吳/吴 (Pinyin transliteration for Mandarin equivalent: Wú) and 伍 (Mandarin ...

Bennett will receive a four game ban
Of course, forgot he'd had a red card already. Highlights the stupidity of not being able to appeal against reds for two yellows, given there's a knock on effect.

So is that a straight three game ban for a red card?
One match for Harper for a professional foul, three matches for Bennett for violent conduct. Not sure either can be excused, and Bennett really should know better. Between them they've cost us the match.

Re: Charlie Mulgrew

Question for fans. When Lenihan regains fitness, do we drop Downing? Or do we play five across the back? Or do we drop Williams or Nyambe? Or do we ask Charlie to play midfield instead of Whittingham or Evans? Answers on a postcard.................. We keep the defence that's been helping us win ga...

Re: Blackpool v Blackburn, Tue 28-11 2017

Quite an interesting night given the other fixture between Charlton and Peterborough. If Charlton and Rovers both win is opens up a big gap between the playoffs and 7th. Equally we could drop down to 6th with a few teams right on our tails. Unless we lose by 10 goals or more, we can't drop down to ...

I think you'll find that old people have had the biggest effect on the NHS.
I thought it was sick people.
Oddly enough there is a causation between the two
But not exclusivity...
