Re: General Election

He’s a very right wing Labour rep And that there is what makes it so entertaining to watch from the outside. He's not far-right, he's a normal left-wing Labour activist who disagrees with the path Momentum want to take the party down and helped get someone else selected as candidate for the forthco...

Re: Sack race

Surely LOLambert has to go soon. He's completely failed at Stoke . Stoke relegated. I can guess what Lambert probably meant to say here , but GUFFAW! I wish I wasn't here because that would mean they'd be in a far better and more stable position. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44109888 And no...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Not expecting much of a budget after seeing an article headlined "Play football at a promotion-winning team" pop up on the club website... :paranoid:

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Cheers... good to know. Essentially then there is no margin in flouting the rules in league one, unless you don't intend to be promoted. Wondering what the chances of us falling back into sanctions is the next time the lumbering beast comes around. My instinct is we'll be fine. I don't think you'd ...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

When do the rules apply? Are we bound by the championship now that the transfer window is open, or by league one until the start of the season? Or I guess something :| in the middle. The Championship rules cover a three-year rolling period, and as I read it, there's no exceptions for teams who spen...

Re: England Squad

It lacks midfielders full stop. I suppose Delph and Young can also cover further upfield, but I'm struggling to see why he's taking 6 full backs. Not that it will make much difference.

I think it was a good amount of compensation considering everything. Sure, probably could have gotten more but I think that's fair.
How could we have got more?
Obtaining compromising photos of the tribunal panel?

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

There were 34 points between playoffs and relegation in the Championship this season. That means turning 17 draws into victories or 34 defeats into draws (or combination of both). Not really "a few marginal games".

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Quite a few of those weren't good enough for the Championship a season ago... ...with poor managers. Hard to say what they will do now they have had some half decent leadership for another 12 months. Uh-huh. Chris Coleman can get Wales to the Euro semi finals but can't keep Sunderland from sufferin...

With the “retained list” going out today, obviously, Graham has value to the club, & should be retained. Conway has done well here, but at his age, we may have reached a point of diminishing returns.
Interesting conculsion, given they're the same age... :yeahright:
