Re: The Blackburn Rovers 'We Are Going Up' Celebration Thread

Or that.

There has to be stability in the management next season to allow us to carry on re-building

Rovers v Rochdale

Can't seem to find a thread on this game

Is nobody interested?

Could be a route to Wembley - (I think anyway) :hyper:

Could also be the reason we've dropped down the divisions over the last few years - to win something we haven't won before

Please discuss ;)

Re: Where are they now?

Wilcox was the dark one on the left - Ripley the blonde one on the right - shouldn't really be confused -

I believe Ripley is not currently "in the game" - he did his law exams I think after retiring - although now acts as his son's agent I seem to remember reading somewhere

Re: Rochdale v Blackburn, Saturday 9 September 2017, 15:00

Other than highlights not seen us play this season due to holidays. However, will dust season ticket off (or open the envelope) and take up my rightful place on the Riverside this Saturday. I will reserve judgement until then but believe the performances to date have not been brilliant. This does no...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Doncaster Rovers Sat 12 Aug 2017, 15:00

I will be away for this first home fixture (as I was last year) so will follow developments with the trusty old transistor radio. Hopeful (but not expecting too much yet) that we can build on Tuesdays encouraging performance (ignore that we got mullered on Saturday). I will also be away for the Burn...

Re: Where are they now?

I liked Baptiste when he was at ours - powerful and attacking - shame he got hurt - not seen anything from him since he left ours though

This may prove to be more exciting than the real thing - 2-1 up after 3 mins - Graham with a worldy

Re: Martin Samuelsen

Saw him play once when he started in a night game (forgot who we we're playing) - looked gangly, awkward and lightweight with quick feet. Made absoluetly no impact in the game I saw him play - but like a Morten Gamst Pederson in his first game for us - needs to fill out and learn the physical side o...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

The Sun are reporting that we are/have signed Charlie Mulgrew from Celtic on a free - know the name but can't say I can remember seeing him play - but I am on the wrong side of 45 now and old age is starting to take hold

Re: First Team Squad

Think I saiud most clubs -not all. there was a period when we could out-bid the top clubs - not always successful I grant you - that came down to the personal choice of the player (Roy Keane being the one that springs to mind). My point was that we could go up against a Sunderland, Swansea, Everton ...

Re: First Team Squad

So, our young, talented players aren't leaving as soon as they can? Dann. Gestede. Cairney. Rhodes. I assume you know what you're talking about, so Hanley & Duffy aren't going anywhere, so the bleeding has stopped. Gotcha. It's not bad. We're 15th in the Championship. Glad to know it isn't as bad a...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Been away from all forums for a while. Briefly does anyone suspect we'll buy any players in or is that unlikely? I anticipate another flurry of transfer activity before the window closes. I think you're probably right - some out (hopefully nobody significant) and also some in. My opinion (again my ...
