Re: Matias Fernandez (New Villanueva)

Matias played against Paraguay this weekend and scored a goal. Chile won 2-0 and we're getting closer and closer to the world cup :D .

Re: Matias Fernandez (New Villanueva)

my point is that they are very different in most ways. People who are interested on seeing him should try to see the paraguay vs chile game next weekend.

Anyways, i doubt he'll sign for the rovers.

Re: Matias Fernandez (New Villanueva)

I think you're getting confused by the fact they're both chilean and play in the same position. Matias is a different player who has proved to be all kinds of awesome, even if he hasnt played that much for villareal. He started his career playing for Colo Colo ( :hyper: ) and was one of the most imp...

Re: Carlos Villanueva

Oh well, that's all for carlos here. The rumor in Chile is that you might be changing one chilean for another, aparently Matias Fernandez (villareal player) has an offer from the rovers. Im inclined to not believe it since he's not any cheaper than carlos is,but he's more talented and not as lightwe...

Re: Carlos Villanueva

Well the last game was a bit (just a bit) of a confirmation of what i was trying to say. Even if he'll look inneffective at times, and probably way too light for the league, he will come through with something interesting for you guys.

Hope he does well the rest of the season

Re: Carlos Villanueva

True that. It makes me a bit sad that you haven't seen the best of him. Having watched too many games of him in the chilean league, I keep in my memory all of his talent and awesomeness. Even if you can't compare the level of the premier league with our tournament, i'm fairly confident that he is go...

Re: Carlos Villanueva

Carlos is all kinds of awesome and I think you're missing out. Even if you don't pay the 5 million I'm pretty sure that with the current situation you could use his skills until he's gone. I'm thinking that he hasnt been playing mostly because of his hight, weight, speed and such. But seriously, his...

Re: Blackburn v Chelsea

Well i've only watched this game during this season so my opinion is probably way biased. Seems like you have a good midfield as far as passing goes but it lacks in creativity, which i think Carlangas can give you if Ince doesn't make him play next to the line. Also, if you're playing with only one ...

Re: Blackburn v Chelsea

I don't have many chances of seeing the rovers, since here in Chile only the games of the top teams are broadcasted on regular cable tv. So i wont be missing this one, i hope Carlangas plays a few minutes and also hoping for a rovers win obviously. :hyper:

Re: Rovers v Manchester United, Sat 4th Oct, 17:30

You're most likely not going to win if you don't play like you actually want those 3 points. The game was over after the first goal...rovers could have done much more i think, too bad. Also, i hope Roque's injury isn't too serious.

Re: Rovers v Manchester United, Sat 4th Oct, 17:30

ahaha i like how pretty much every thread ends up having super long string of off topic posts. This game will surely be on espn here in Chile, so it will be the first rovers game i get to see this season, hopefully Carlangas Villanueva will get some minutes... i don't think he'll be starting this ti...

Re: Rovers v Manchester United

Have a little faith people. Its funny, you dont usually see southamerican fans saying that their team is going to lose, even when it is the most likely result. Im not sure if its better that you are more rational about it, or if it makes it more boring. Im placing a bet for a rovers win anyways, jus...
