Re: Bowyer leaves the club

I feel with the way the owners and the others have behaved over the last 2 years that they seem to have learned their lessons from the past and I hope that it will be one of: Moyes, Sherwood, Jokanovic, Pearson or even Lambert. Hope for them, expect Glen Mullan... I'd managed to forget about him, t...

Re: Bowyer leaves the club

Gutted when I found out Bowyer had been sacked and I will always be grateful for the way he saved us in our first season back in the Championship. Also have to credit the job he did with the tough financial constraints that have been on the club since he's taken over. That said, I am not going to cr...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Really shocked that he's come out and said that he wants to be able to speak to Boro. I've always thought he was a model professional and have said that if he left, I would wish him all the best for the future so it's such a shame that he could ruin his reputation with our fans.

Re: Opening-day lineup, vs. final-day lineup.

I definitely trust Bowyer to make the right signings for us this summer, he's definitely shown an eye for good free/cheap signings in the past. If you look at the signings of Gestede and Cairney, Bowyer has shown that he can get some great players for peanuts. This is hoping that our embargo is lift...

Re: Leeds v Blackburn 04th April 2015, 15:00

Interesting - Raya starts in goal. Makes me think that we're considering cutting Steele loose, keeping Eastwood as number 1 next season and seeing if Raya will cut it as number 2. 33 Raya 02 Henley 15 Baptiste 04 Kilgallon 14 Olsson 10 Cairney 25 Spearing 17 Williamson 12 Marshall 11 Rhodes 39 Gest...

Was going to go to the this but need to keep my money for if when we get to Wembley. It'd be our luck though that we'll get a few injuries in this game :x

Re: Are you ready for 7000 Boro Fans

After the way Boro fans acted as I was coming out of the Riverside last month, I'm not in the least bit surprised about this thread. They're up there with Villa and Newcastle fans in the knobheadish stakes.

Re: Banning the bouncer.

Never heard a more ridiculous suggestion in all my life. It was just a freak injury and it's such a shame that this tragic accident has happened but he is the first player I have known to have died from injuries received from a bouncer. More football players have died from head injuries received whi...

Absolutely devastated when I woke up to hear the news this morning. For someone so young to lose their life like this is awful. Feel sorry for Sean Abbott too.

Hoping for a win(obviously) but would take a draw to a good Middlesbrough side who are doing well this season.

Re: Where are they now?

I've only just noticed Julio Santa Cruz has gone from featuring sporadically for our reserves to scoring a 92nd minute equaliser in the first leg of the Copa Libertadores - the South American's Champions League equivalent! It happened in August but I've only just noticed it now.
