Re: Relegation Stay or Go

I think the next step of the process is evaluate who is out of contract this summer in the Premier League, Championship, League 1 and 2, and start from there. It's obvious that there's really no money for transfers directly, but signing players on a free is the way forward, and to pick off some youn...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I think we should rename this thread in honour of Donald Trump's favourite phrase: Fake (Transfer) News. Look, if there is one thing I know, it's transfers. I am really good at transfers. Just look at my previous transfers. People are jealous of my transfers. They ask me, "Hey, Donald, how do you d...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

He's the right age to bring in an experienced player. 43 matches last season with a club that got to the playoffs is a good qualification for me.

Re: Some token points for Mowbray

I believe anyone not overweight and under 40 would plain out dust anyone in a sack race.

Re: Value of Rovers

I always believe that if you have a good executive with a good manager, you can make something great. We just desperately need a good executive while we have Mowbray here. Managers shouldn't be tasked with finding players, they should be getting help from other people and given options for players.

Re: Venky's out now

I could see them signing it in an amount per year contract, if Venkys sold off Blackburn. Who knows though. I just hope they can find a good executive to run the club for them.

Re: Value of Rovers

It will be interesting what the taxes look like for the fiscal year. June 2016 was reported to having only £1.5m in the financial year compared to £17.3m in 2015.

Re: Relegation Stay or Go

I believe it was a contractual obligation of the football director to keep us up, no evidence of that statement but it looks likely with how he left. The positives of being in League 1 is we really get to see the academy shine and see how that investment is paying off. I would imagine Lewis Mansell ...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

I would rather them issue a statement then say nothing. I already know there is backlash for the statement, but dumb fans will be dumb. I guess I am in the category of fan that will sit idlely by because, in the end, a sports team isn't worth getting worked up about. Its not the first time a sports ...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

Isn't Mowbray already contracted until summer 2018? I believe so, he signed an 18 month contract. I am just happy we went down with a good fight. Mowbray showed inspiration into the squad, our youngsters showed potential, things looked well. I am somewhat excited at the idea of League 1 (FIFA 18 is...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

Until Huddersfield season ends, I do have a grudge against their manager who thinks that you can win a match by making a full switch of squad. I think it's a very suspect decision to make against a club you know is fighting for it's life in the league. But at the end of the season, we were shite the...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

Bah. Well played Forest and Birmingham, we'll have to go back to the drawing board in league one. Well played our lads too - they gave everything today, we've been much better under Mowbray. This exactly. Its definitely going to be a massive rebuild as far as wages are concerned. I am interested to...

Half time Christians vs lions?
Clearly lions, but the Christians will convert them into Christian lions, and the Christian lions will start heading churches and take over.
