Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Not really, he was awesome in the MLS. Then he went to Portugal and things kind of went downhill.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I guess we are trying to find the next Freddy Adu.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Depends on how the financials look like. We really don't know how the 2017 fiscal year is like right now, but I would assume we can be looking at a boost in revenue during next season.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Not sure how I would feel about them. Robertson would be a good depth signing to replace Ward, but Mellor is a head scratcher because we have depth at full back already. But I guess Mellor would be more versatile as depth, since he can play anywhere on the back line. A paper has us linked, along wit...

Re: Mahoney.

I mean in terms of possibly selling him. But I think this is a better deal with the 20% sell on clause.

Re: Mahoney.

I think it was a good amount of compensation considering everything. Sure, probably could have gotten more but I think that's fair.

Re: Blackburn Rovers, Season in Review- D3D4football.com

I don't think Conway can possibly make more than a fringe player in Championship squad. If he's down in League 1 again, maybe a starter for a mid-table club. But I can't see him being competitive for a starting position above that. I also do love his work ethic and think he brings so much value to y...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Has to be a slam dunk transfer much like Dack to pay that much for a player. Something that will be a significant upgrade to what we have now. Maybe a player like Wil Trapp from Columbus (defensive midfielder) who is young, versatile, and has the right attributes to be successful in the Championship...

I thought there was a rumor that this Maceo Rigters fellow was a quality chap to sign.

Re: The Blackburn Rovers 'We Are Going Up' Celebration Thread

You're not the only one Waco, being in Northeast Ohio, the only person that has any semblance of an idea of Blackburn was a professor of mine who supports Liverpool. He was also born and raised in the Lancashire area as well.

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

First, congratulations to Gaz and the missus for the baby boy! Definitely a cause for celebration. Second, I think with a seemingly no stress match, we did very well to get the win. A little disappointed to not see Travis come on, but that Payne sub was a great one and he showed what quality he can ...

Bunch of idiot supporters invading the pitch before full time. I am happy too, but at least wait until full time.

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

Quite the attacking lineup, saying a 4-3-3. Nyambe makes his return, with Evans, Bennett and Smalllwood in the middle, and up top is Armstrong, Graham, and Samuel. Probably expect Travis off the bench in the second half.
