Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Only a year younger than Graham, I would pass.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Reading, Wed, 22 August 2018, KO 19:45

I imagine Mowbray is utilizing switching out Graham and Armstrong up front to keep the opposition guessing on who will start. I don't know who will start due to Reading only losing by narrow margins each time. Probably go towards Armstrong starting up top, then Graham at 60th minute again. However i...

Blackburn Rovers v Reading, Wed, 22 August 2018, KO 19:45

After a solid offensive and possessive showing at Hull, and Reading in an absolute struggle after 3 matches with losses, it will be in my hopes that they don't get underestimated.

Re: Hull v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 18 August 2018, KO 15:00

Really good showing all around. Hull were rather poor the whole match. Palmer is such a great player to have at this level. Evans was a standout defensive midfielder to me. Really should have had a couple more goals, but a win is a win. Dack and Armstrong will become a formidable duo at this level. ...

All over. Thank Thor we held out. Hope Dack's alright.

Will be interesting to see if they throw Rothwell in after half time for Evans. It seems like Mowbray is trying to upgrade that position.

I like the pace of the team put out though.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

That number is concerning as well. I think Rovers can get in some proven players for that price mark. There is something to be said about ability now and growth of a player. Right now, he might be good, but he has a lot of growing to do to reach that valuation. I understand the potential he has, but...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Bid for Brereton is upwards of 8 million now.

Re: Hull v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 18 August 2018, KO 15:00

I think it's not to be worried about. All the loan deals are expected to have a view to buy. So they need to be prices set to Rovers standards along with manageable wages. 3 deals are in the works, with Brereton being set on one of the 3. I think we will be fine. Only thing I am worried about is the...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Probably the only hang up I see in that deal is the view to buy at a set price. Wonder who the other two loanees might be.

Another shot at going for a win, might even see a new face come in before then.

Have you not taken notice of the American sports complex? Ties don't happen unless it's after 15 minutes in American football.

Re: The next Wayne Rooney?

90th + 5 minute, looking for a win. That's why the keeper is up at that minute. Plus it's the MLS. To say the least, the days of boring matches are only confined to the likes of the Columbus Crew. And yes, I support the Columbus Crew, because why wouldn't you support a club when your mascot is Crew ...
