Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

The only criticism I have is Downing. Right now, he is very serviceable and does a good job complimenting Mulgrew. However, I do not think he would fit well at the next level as he seems to be very good at getting instructions, rather than thinking on his feet. I know I am being hyper critical of h...

Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

Let's give some credit to the tactical switch of Conway and Antonnsson. Antonnsson seemed ineffective on the right so well played to Mowbray for noticing that half way through the first half. As previously stated by others, injuries of Evans and Whittingham could be a blessing in disguise as it forc...

Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

Solid second half, valuable experience for Tomlinson as well. Definitely showed their worth and that they deserve to be in the top 2 fight. Shrewsbury and Wigan aren't making it easy, but that's the point I guess.

When was the last time Rovers so 5 in a row in the league?

Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

So Evans came on for Whittingham, and we are still down at half time. I think this first half is a reality check into our depth and quality. Whittingham is not a defensive midfielder in any way, shape or form. Not sure what his use is past getting a pass in here and there. We don't have much quality...

Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

No Bennett or Conway, so it will be interesting where Mowbray gets his wingers. I can assume that Caddis will get pushed up to right mid.

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn v Crewe, Sun 03-12 2017

Exactly, it was on our own player who backpassed instead of just hoofing it up field.

We can analyze it but at the end of it all, he gets the red and hopefully can look at some sort of reduced suspension.

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn v Crewe, Sun 03-12 2017

First, thanks for posting highlights. After seeing that penalty call, I am in the minority that if you are given a penalty, and the foul is rather routine (albeit eliminating a goal scoring chance), a yellow card should be warranted, not a red. The other team is already given a goal scoring opportun...

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn v Crewe, Sun 03-12 2017

Sounds like a replay in the works. Only could read the stat line, and it is shocking how we go 3-0 up, get 2 red cards and eventually draw. We put out some reserves, Leutweiler, Ward, Wharton, Harper, Caddis, and bringing Travis on in the second half. So those are the bright spots is they got a run ...

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn v Crewe, Sun 03-12 2017

We have completely fallen apart, 2 men down and it's 3-3 now. If we can even get a goal to win, I will be over the moon. I can't wait to see the highlights because 2 red cards is questionable decision making by the ref.

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn v Crewe, Sun 03-12 2017

It is a bit weird he got a straight red, so it bad to be really bad if it warranted a red, or the ref felt bad.
