Must not have faith in the products in the system.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Ipswich Town, Sat 19 Jan 2019, KO 15:00

Exactly, not much time left for Bell to develop. He can always get better with passing and awareness, but everything else is pretty much capped. Still think we need a left back option that is better than Bell (easier said than done). Another winger at the right price wouldn't hurt either, but Mowbra...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Ipswich Town, Sat 19 Jan 2019, KO 15:00

The kind of win we needed, clean sheet with a couple of goals to bring up that goal differential. Watched the first half and thought it was going to be one of those matches where the opportunities are there for the taking and no end product. Glad to see Graham and Nuttall get goals in this. Didn't s...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Ipswich Town, Sat 19 Jan 2019, KO 15:00

This is definitely a must win match. Not only because Ipswich are dire those season, but Lambert is their manager.

As long as we have Mulgrew or Rodwell back in the lineup, we should be fine. Not having any centrebacks was woeful for Newcastle.

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn Rovers v Newcastle, Tue 15th Jan, KO 19:45

If anything, we have given Newcastle a headache on pushing towards promotion. Lascelles came off injured and pushed some of their first teamers 120 minutes. Overall, I am disappointed but not totally. Started with one real centreback so no surprise that Newcastle got 4 goals. It would have been nice...

That is some shit for Newcastle to get that goal.

If you have ESPN+, it's on there. Future reference, if you know a Rovers match will be televised, sign up for the free trial and cancel afterwards.

I assumed it was to save him from another embarrassing shot off target.

Re: FA Cup: Blackburn Rovers v Newcastle, Tue 15th Jan, KO 19:45

I think Evans gets the seat instead of Travis. But overall, I think that lineup is accurate.

As long as we see the same Newcastle team that came out last time, we will have a good time. Bonus is that it's at Ewood.

Re: Millwall V Blackburn Rovers, Sat 12 Jan, KO 17:30

I also think that Bell has room for improvement and time is still on his side. I believe adding competition there that isn't Williams (because he's not a real left back) would help improve Bell.

Re: Millwall V Blackburn Rovers, Sat 12 Jan, KO 17:30

Nuttall in the right place at the right time to take that deflection. Armstrong's goal was a piece of work too. Overall very pleased we changed the fortune of losing in the last minutes to scoring goals in the last minutes. Solid result. Only complaint if Bell. Gave away too many easy passes and pos...

Re: Millwall V Blackburn Rovers, Sat 12 Jan, KO 17:30

Rather drab first half. No shots on goal by both sides. Neither side has full control of the match. Much more of a midfield battle and who can make that critical pass through. Nuttall isn't great but isn't terrible. He had made some decent runs, but his first touch needs a lot of work still. Wouldn'...

Also of note is Danny Butterworth on the bench as well. Technically 4 strikers on the bench.

Re: Millwall V Blackburn Rovers, Sat 12 Jan, KO 17:30

Joe Nuttall is the man up top today. Rodwell in for Mulgrew. Brereton, Armstrong, and Graham all on the bench.
