Re: Mahoney.

I think they can certainly make an offer and have it accepted without a tribunal. They just can't offer a contract and take him on a freebie when it expires.

Re: Venkys Debt...

Howdy partners, Happy(ish)Rover here, can't login on my other account, too frustrated to explain why lol anyways I had a thought the other day relating to the clubs wage bill and a possible way to half it, here goes - Given players careers are relatively short would it not be possible to offer as a...

Re: Mahoney.

Indeed and even if he goes because his contract ends it'll go to a tribunal cause he isn't old enough yet to go for free.

Re: Venkys Debt...

US style "rivalries" aren't really important in football, Waco.

The only hope is that dropping again allows us to completely trim the fat and start over. It's worked for some teams before. Either that or we become the next Portsmouth....

Re: Venkys Debt...

As explained countless times before, the total debt is irrelevant as far as FFP is concerned. It's also irrelevant from the point of view of going into administration. The only relevance it has is if Venky's wish to recoup their investment into the club in any sell on price. The only thing that mat...

Re: Venkys Debt...

"Player sales and so on." When I started following Blackburn Rovers, we were 8th in the Championship. We had a strong nucleus of players...Gestede, Rhodes, King, Marshall, Cairney, etc. I don't think there are any players left to sell now...& if we did, why would we want to sell the last players th...

Makes zero impact.

Unless nobody wanted to buy it for how much they want for it, so they liquidated.

Re: Wolves v Rovers, Sat 22nd April 2017, 15:00

If Lenihan and Mulgrew are available it would make our defensive options better. Ironically we played our best football against Bristol City with Conway and Bennett as full backs. Mulgrew is probably our best midfielder and is wasted in the back four. A statement of intent would be... -------------...

Re: Wolves v Rovers, Sat 22nd April 2017, 15:00

Yeah I know that story. The other half rarely wants to do the fun stuff! Though obviously camping and hiking are fun in themselves.

Back to the game, we're obviously doomed because OOJW's beloved Lambert is in charge at Wolves. He's the greatest manager ever, he's even been to Allemagne.

Scafell and not the Pike?

Which route you taking?
Scafell is easily the better walk. The pike is a bit boring.
