Re: General Election

Yes there's the possibility of contaminants caused from fracking. Scientists are generally undecided yet as to how bad they are. But the same applies to other energy sources: oil wells leak and cause major health issues, perhaps we should compare those to a drug that affected pregnancies to cause de...

Re: General Election

Do you know what's really made Scandanavian policy work so well? Tiny populations. As for democratically elected; do you really think the Labour party elections are democratic? How much do you pay to be a voting member again? :yeahright: I ised to have more respect for Corbyn, I actually thought he ...

Re: Cycling

Thought it would be closer than that after the TT. Good ride by Yates, and Dumoulin perhaps a shade fatigued from his efforts so far.

Probably makes for less exciting riding over the final week, but we'll have to see who attacks him!

Re: Cycling

Froome wins a stage, the Beeb goes nuts, then he has loads more time put into him. Hah.

I reckon Yates will just about lose the pink jersey on Tuesday's TT, but if he can keep his form, should regain whatever defecit (which should be small) in thr big mountains next weekend.

It lacks midfielders full stop. I suppose Delph and Young can also cover further upfield, but I'm struggling to see why he's taking 6 full backs. Not that it will make much difference.
We're going to play two on each side.

I guess Kean had no impact on the club after all :D

The great thing is we can see what the impact is over the next 12 months - result!
Because obviously my statement was binary.....

Quite a few of those weren't good enough for the Championship a season ago...
...with poor managers. Hard to say what they will do now they have had some half decent leadership for another 12 months.
This.
You're both kidding yourself about the impact that managers have on the game.

Re: Blackburn Rovers, Season in Review- D3D4football.com

A positive article from Waco about a positive outcome to the season. A lot said too about the players who made the season a success. Several of them brought in by Tony Mowbray namely Dack, Downing and Smallwood and on loan Armstrong, Chapman and Payne. But what about about Mowbrays signings that di...
