I think Mr Fletcher must have filtered out all the crap and just added in the stuff that makes sense!

Re:

The problem Arsenal have is that their squad is built up around the Wenger way of doing things (foreign, young). It will be hard for someone else to go there and doing anything without heavy investment to turn the club to the new managers appraoch. And its not just the squad. I went on a stadium to...

Wow.

Matt Derbyshire scored more goals last year than Santa Cruz ever has in his career to date. And Derbs only cost about £20k

Re:

Has anyone ever met one who owns a season ticket? Actually yes, a whole family of them. OK they live in Leicester, but were originally from manchester. Saw my first 2 euro games at old trafford, as whenever one of them couldn't make a game, they would give the ticket away. Very decent peo...

Re:

Just found this BBC article on Brazilian imports to the prem. It's a few years old, and finishes by predicting the futures of a few more young prospects. HOW COULD THEY HAVE KNOWN? Uncanny. The next generation: Ronaldinho: MISS Previous clubs: Gremio (Brazil), Paris St Germain (France). A hit at the...

Re:

Out of interest does anybody on here (defender of the Women's game or otherwise) actually watch Rovers Ladies? No. But then I fully expect that plenty of our ladies team's supporters don't watch the men play either. It is disgraceful that a club feel they cannot afford to spend £300k a year runnin...

Re:

Fuck it, easy way to solve all that mess - allow a physio on to the field to treat whoever it is - if the ball hits him it's a freekick to the opposition. No stops in play for injured players full stop; if they're ok to play they can get up and play, if not they get trated. Works in Rugby so why no...

Williams is the brains behind American-based Nuttall Investments. He set up the company, with American backers, and named it Nuttall after the street where one of the Blackburn stands is built - a touch that will go down well with fans. Yes it would. I saw this mentioned on the bbc gossip page, and...

Re: Three heads are better than one

The creature - which has six legs - has stunned a BBC wildlife expert who said it could be an early warning of environmental problems. Why would it mean that? :wanker: These things turn up every now and then, its not at all unheard of for livestock or pet snakes to be born with extra heads. The mor...

Yes I have, don't think Mr Elton is much of fan either. Good.
