Incorrect. The biggest expense is staffing. Renegotiating contracts for all the employees across several different franchises is no small matter. Then you have the interesting position as well of a company that you gave a contract to, who now will have no business in a few years time. What's to sto...

Well we can certainly quickly have a recession by spunking a load of money up the wall renationalising the railways..... ;) Surely we just have to let the contracts run down? The expense of buying or building new rolling stock will be the main expense, and that could be a breath of fresh air to UK ...

Fair enough, we'll have to wait and see what Mowbray chooses to do. I guess it depends on whether Lenihan, Wharton or Ward (I was forgetting Ward) can form an effective partnership.

I'd consider playing Lenihan in Central Midfield with Mulgrew and Wharton as the central defensive pairing.

Different times, different labour party. I guess we'll find out in the unlikely event that they get in.

Also, I'm sure I was reading economic forecasts a few months back that another recession was unavoidably on the horizon anyway, that the current mini recovery was just a bubble.
