Re: Scott Wharton.

I'd consider playing Lenihan in Central Midfield with Mulgrew and Wharton as the central defensive pairing.

Re: General Election

Different times, different labour party. I guess we'll find out in the unlikely event that they get in.

Also, I'm sure I was reading economic forecasts a few months back that another recession was unavoidably on the horizon anyway, that the current mini recovery was just a bubble.

Re: General Election

Well, no, but then while I doubt that Labour will be able to deliver on all their promises, I think they'll push us in the right direction. I think the future under the Conservatives is infinitely more bleak, so I'll be using my vote against them. But you just said that unconditional spending is ba...

Re: General Election

Just a slight note on the IFS... although Labour can't guarantee sustained growth in the face of increased taxation, neither can the tories guarantee it with 5 years of further austerity... its a shame that the same risks aren't highlighted. The fact is that brexit and the fallout from it will have...

Re: Suicide bomb in Manchester

Yeah, hope you're all okay. Fucking scumbags.

I was living in Manchester the last time some cretin bombed it, we narrowly avoided it with a last minute decision to stay in bed rather than go shopping that morning. Horrible feeling.

Our thoughts are with Mancunians today.
