Obviously not true in the slightest. Rovers fine owners would never be involved in such a thing.

I hope we get to see many of the younger players in the new season.
You probably will at other clubs after they have been sold off.

Re: Football Director, Paul Simon*

I kind of grew to like Paul Senior and i'm sad to see him go. I wouldn't buy a second hand car off him though. Maybe that is why he went. Venky's wouldn't let him sell used vehicles at Ewood over the summer.

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

Oh well here we are then. I've had a good bellyache about Venkys and feel a lot better now. So how is it going to go today. Its going to be a roller coaster ride for sure. Birminghams only victory of late has been against a second string Huddersfield side. Birmingham are at Bristol City today. If Br...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

I agree with Blackbat regarding the fans not helping the situation. I think we can see this today with Arsenal. Unfortunately fans will not return to Ewood park until there is an upturn in results. I totally agree again that the wealth in football is not evenly distributed. Money afforded to premie...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

Honestly, I think thre must be something that happens to memory and retention when you start supporting a football club. How many times does the same thing need explaining? Darth, genuine question: what do you expect a new owner to actually be able to do given we don't make enough money to be able ...

Re: Rovers vs Brentford

So this is where we find ourselves when we sell all our best players and spend only £250,000 on one player. Hardly surprising really. The owners though remain totally 'committed' to the club. A club where not one of them has bothered turning up for a game in three years and seen debts now out of con...

Re: Tony Mowbray

We should give Mowbray a chance next season definitely. And if it goes wrong we always have Alan Irvine to fall back on.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Aston Villa 2: Electric Boogaloo

I did an Ethiaa this week and disappeared over the Welsh hills where there is no signal to be had. Glad when i turned on my phone and saw the result. I suspected Huddersfield wouldn't put up much of a fight. Trying to think where i can hide next Sunday. One thing that can happen is with Rovers away ...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Aston Villa 2: Electric Boogaloo

What concerns me most about this Saturdays fixtures is Huddersfield have now secured their place in the play offs. Will they be content with that and save their best efforts for the end of season lottery? Or will they want to secure third place. Huddersfield haven't exactly done us any favours of la...

Re: Wolves v Rovers, Sat 22nd April 2017, 15:00

If Lenihan and Mulgrew are available it would make our defensive options better. Ironically we played our best football against Bristol City with Conway and Bennett as full backs. Mulgrew is probably our best midfielder and is wasted in the back four. A statement of intent would be... -------------...

Re: Rovers vs Forest, 14th April 2017

WOW a huge win for Rovers. I couldn't bear to even keep myself up to date with Rovers progress today. I had a sneaky look at half time but didn't look again until the game was over. Just hope we can get another three points on Monday. Cheers to Murder in the room 229 for the well wishes. I always kn...
