Re: Peterborough v Blackburn, 9-12 2017

Looks like Bennet, Evans and Whittingham will be missing the next three games at least. There will never be a better time for young Tomlinson and some of the younger players to step up. If Tomlinson can do a Nuttall and break into the first team, those injuries and suspensions might turn out to be ...

Through my childlike empathy, I just couldn’t imagine anything worse than being smashed in the balls I guess

https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/premier-league/blackburn-rovers-vs-sheffield-wednesday_game_16984.html 5-1 after 24 minutes... I remember that game no only for the score but also for being absolutely distraught at seeing a Wednesday player go down injured after taking a direct free kick to th...

Re: Wigan Athletic v Blackburn Rovers Sat 27/10 2017 @ 3 pm

I don't think it was a dive at all. I had no confidence in the ref from the second or third minute, and I think he's had a shocking game. I felt we were just starting to improve when the red card was given, with Bennett and Dack getting in to better positions and starting to affect the game more.

Throw in another 3 million and add in Seb Perez... Oh wait, I'm paying the wrong game.
Sebastien Perez was great - in my infant mind anyway.

Feeney can run like the proverbial 'clappers'
So I hear, but I've seen very little evidence of even this

Re: Fantasy Premier League 17/18

I had given up ages ago, probably when rovers got relegated from the Prem actually, so I've started again from scratch now that I've realised I still pay a lot of attention to the Premier League.

We've never been able to take Coventry for granted, they've been one of our bogey teams for as long as I can remember.

Marcus Antonsson on loan?
No one knows who he is, here in Sweden. However, it's quite common for Swedish players who perform to a decent enough standard under the radar, to get picked up and then resurface somewhere in Europe before anyone notices them here.

Anyone use iFollow?
I did, you can pay per game as well as pay for the whole season. Seems a decent enough service but it's pretty near bones. Still better than nothing.

Re: Southend v Blackburn Sat 5 August 2017, 15:00

Our players looked like they thought they'd walk it in this league; I think they might have had a bit of a shock today. Not sure about Smallwood, I thought Evans looked a lot busier and better when he came on. Feenaldo doesn't look any better at football in a league below either, but it is the first...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Yet everyone keeps going on that they're glad we kept thr core of players.... Steele made plenty of his own mistakes, and didn't really counter with anything brilliant to pull us out the mire when the others did make mistake. There was that one game against Newcastle at Ewood last season, but other...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

The rumour mill websites seems to think Steele was one of our outstanding players last season.... Which is odd if you consider the points he cost us by himself might otherwise have kept us up. In the interest of fairness, Raya is hardly the finished article, and might just as well have made as many ...
