Very poor is somewhat of an understatement. Hawking was a complete anomaly in terms of longevity. 3-5 years is accurate for 90% of those diagnosed with it. That's a lot of money for a team just up from league 1. Applies big expectations especially when it will inevitably be compared with Armstrong. I'm a little dubious.

The club has always said that they had the highest wage bill in the division because they had repeatedly backed the managers with the owners picking up the bill. Nobody likes to hear it for some reason.
