Re: Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00

Re: Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00

But it was dangerous - and as we all know, a dangerous act is a red card regardless of whether it was intended or not. So I'm not sure how Oscar stayed on the pitch. But that's what you get playing in China.

Re: Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00

In this case, a direct analogy to Pistorius would be to assume Rhead intended to clatter a defender, but because he turned his back, clattered the goalkeeper. Surely, it would be he intended to clatter the goalkeeper, but didn't realise it was actually his girlfriend who he'd invited to play even t...

Re: Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00

If you're talking deliberate elbow to the throat, well at that point his back his fully turned so there's no possible way he could make that contact deliberately. Re: Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00

If I apply my banter with my elbow but with my eyes all screwed up closed, will I get away with it? You could argue about intent but it seems pretty clear it was dangerous to me. That would be serious foul play and a red card. But hey, it makes for an awesome gif which is all anyone REALLY cares abo...

Re: General Election

Independent - not anything to do with Labour or indeed UK politics. I'm sure they can be accused of being in some shady cabal trying to bring down the right-thinking good people of the home counties though :D

Re: General Election

I mean there are independent Jewish reporters, in Israel and the UK, saying it's all a load of hyperbolic tosh. But that doesn't make for sensationalist news.
