Re: football manager 2009

The takeaway menus are just to prepare you for the laziness you will commit to once the game arrives. You do realise you won't be leaving the house for some time, right? Takeaway menus should be a blessing. ;)

Re: Rovers v Sunderland

Mark Atkins did the same role for us when we won the league. Except the number of goals he scored was higher than the number of yellow cards he collected... ;) And I didn't think he was a good footballer either. :-o For shame! Take it back! I remember Atkins scoring a deflected goal in a 3-1 win at...

And you sent me a PM asking me if I'd send you a pic of me kissing Roy Keane's cheeks. Stop mentioning it out here like you don't love the idea.

Re: Rovers v Sunderland

As did Flitty :D AND shag their missus. ;) :D :D :D :D :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: I miss Flitcroft's hair. He looked like a munster. We've got Matty and his floppy hair back, now it's time for Ince to employ ol' Garry as a coach, just so the players will feel good about being surrounded by suc...

Re: football manager 2009

Man flu...lol

Santa Cruz settles down if you get him scoring and keep the team in the top-10. :D

Like you say, it's only the demo so it's hard to say whether they'll change anything regarding the 3D engine.

Re: Rovers v Sunderland

I think the introduction of Makelele to the prem showed how over rated Keane was, Makelele did the defensive job equally as well without kicking people to the same degree and hisskill and craft ont he ball are so much better. So I would disagree Willy and say he is the best the prem has seen. While...

Re: Rovers v Sunderland

I'd say he was probably the best defensive midfielder the Prem has seen so far. Only Vieira came close and people forget how much of a thug Vieira could be, he was a sneaky fucker. No-one said you liked Vieira. But surely he'd be the closest player in terms of similarity of ability to Keane? Sorry,...

Re: Rovers v Sunderland

I was reading an old edition of FourFourTwo the other day (I was having a crap, I was) and there's an interview with Souness in there where he talks about how he never went out to intentionally hurt a player. Next to said text is a picture of him walking past one of his victims - grinning. Dude has ...

Re: football manager 2009

Downloaded the Gold Demo about a week and a half ago. Pretty impressive. Just what you expect, really....slightly updated skin, updated database and a few extras. I don't like the look of the 3D matches, they seem to skip, jump and stutter a bit. I thought it was my graphics card being pretty averag...

Re: Rovers v Sunderland

Joey Barton is a lovely person with a nice personality and a caring nature. All you haters are just jealous because he's got more pans of scouse and more car stereos than you do.

Big up, Joseph!

I'd say he was probably the best defensive midfielder the Prem has seen so far. Only Vieira came close and people forget how much of a thug Vieira could be, he was a sneaky fucker. Can you think of another defensive midfielder who pops up with important goals and leads a team like Keane did? Sure, h...
