Re: Charlie Mulgrew

The way things are shaping up, Mulgrew (on a free!) could be one of our best ever value signings.
I hope young Houghton is given a chance, he impressed when he played last season.

Re: Liam Feeney

Feeney can run like the proverbial 'clappers', but not much else.

Re: Sam Hart

Williams hasn't impressed me so far this season, competition will be good for him.

Re: Where are they now?

I'm disappointed that Adam Henley hasn't found a club. Too young and talented to find himself out of work.

The strength of a teram can be measured by the quality of its reserves. Danny Graham is one to keep.

Re: Bradford v Blackburn, Sat 19 August 2017, 15:00

Myambe representa the only element of speed in our defence - sooner have him than Williams in the team, Gladwin improved the left hand side of the team no end last Saturday.
I would like to see
Leutwiler
Nyambe Mulgrew Ward Gladwin
Caddis (or Conway) Dack Smallwood Chapman
Samuel Graham

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Doncaster Rovers Sat 12 Aug 2017, 15:00

Was Williams injured? He was having a stinker when Mowbray pulled him off. Having said that I thought Gladwin was quite impressive.Graham got no service, nor surprising when the midfield was 25 yards behind him. Bennett and Whittingham were anonymous but I thought Nyambe had a fair game, at least th...

Rovers v Doncaster

Can't wait for 3pm this Saturday.
There should be a prize for anyone correctly nominating Saturday's starting eleven. The defence probably picks itself - but the midfield?

Hadn't realised that Murphy had issues re his wife and the fans.
I just saw him as over the top, overpaid, and overrated.

Re: Southend v Blackburn Sat 5 August 2017, 15:00

Disappointing, but I'll reserve judgement until we've played six games.Tbh I wish Mulgrew hadn't cracked that goal in - that would have stirred a few managers' interest. Surely some of our younger /academy players must be good enough to play at this level? We always seem to believe other teams' reje...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I was actually asking which Rovers manager signed him!
I see Emnes is still without a club, just wish we could go the extra mile for this player - one of my favs last season. And that goal........................

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I don't recollect Stokes getting a start in any of our league matches last year. Whoever signed him?
