Re: Blackburn Rovers v Aston Villa, Sat, 15 Sept 2018, KO 17:30

Disappointing at the end to give the free kick which put Villa level. Great team effort overall, but it's sad to see the 2 points slip away.

Bit of a weird match for the ref thus far. Not making some crucial calls, but then again it favors us right now.

Would be nice to see if Rodwell sneaks into the 18, but also would be great to see Reed can get into the 11 over Smallwood.

Re: Where are they now?

Bummer, he will do well in Vancouver, MLS is a pacey offense heavy league. Really would have loved him back, was easily my favorite player that season.

Re: Bristol City v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 2 Sept 2018, KO 13:30

As stated previously, Evans and Raya were the only ones that did well all match. First half: Really competitive, looked as if we could have put away 3 goals. Unlucky to get a second as Palmer's 2 yard finish hits the underneath of the top bar. Armstrong got a bit greedy, not taking quality chances o...

Bristol City up 3-1 now. Kind of an eye opening performance from Rovers. Lenihan is not having the best performance today, same with Raya aside from a couple good saves.

Re: Bristol City v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 2 Sept 2018, KO 13:30

Half time at 1-1. Bit unlucky to concede that free kick, which Raya could do nothing about. I feel as if Rovers are on the back foot right now, not taking their chances well. Armstrong has tried at least 3 times to take a shot, which all have been saved or blocked. Probably could have laid off to Gr...

Re: Bristol City v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 2 Sept 2018, KO 13:30

No Dack in the 18, but we line up as

Raya
Nyambe-Lenihan-Mulgrew-Bell
Smallwood-Evans
Bennett-Palmer-Armstrong
Graham

Brereton, Rothwell, Williams, Reed, Nuttall, Conway, and Leutwiler sit on the bench.

Nothing better than a youngster giving rave reviews of the club.

Re: Paul Caddis

I will dearly miss Caddis. He was a closet favorite of mine due to his appearance, looked like he was a 40something posing as a footballer. I really hope he finds a club soon, he could really put in some good performances at the League 1/2 level.

Re: Bristol City v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 2 Sept 2018, KO 13:30

I can't imagine Dack or Armstrong getting a start or being on the bench unless Mowbray feels confident they are 100% ready to go. We have a 2 week break after Bristol City so it makes no sense to risk Dack or Armstrong when they can fully heal after that. I would love to see a strong line-up for thi...

Bristol City v Blackburn Rovers, Sun 2 Sept 2018, KO 13:30

Got an early Sunday match. Would be nice to see Brereton come on as a sub. Probably won't see Dack or Armstrong again in this match as well.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

More rumors of Cameron Jerome being linked to us. Wouldn't be bad to have him, he can do a job and is able to score goals relatively consistently.
