Re: Millwall V Blackburn Rovers, Sat 12 Jan, KO 17:30

Rather drab first half. No shots on goal by both sides. Neither side has full control of the match. Much more of a midfield battle and who can make that critical pass through. Nuttall isn't great but isn't terrible. He had made some decent runs, but his first touch needs a lot of work still. Wouldn'...

Also of note is Danny Butterworth on the bench as well. Technically 4 strikers on the bench.

Re: Millwall V Blackburn Rovers, Sat 12 Jan, KO 17:30

Joe Nuttall is the man up top today. Rodwell in for Mulgrew. Brereton, Armstrong, and Graham all on the bench.

Totally forgot this was at an unusual time. Got all excited just to wait an extra 2 and a half hours.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Mowbray dismisses possibility of Woodburn on loan. Smart move IMO, really need to see what we have in stock permanently rather than looking for loanees.

Mowbray has expressed that he would look forward to seeing another Graham-type of player come in though.

Re: FA Cup: Newcastle v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 5 Jan, KO 17:30

A little disappointed at the penalty conceded. Really had this match in the bag and Evans gives away a cheap penalty. It's good for the squad to have the extra match though, more experience for younger heads.

Re: FA Cup: Newcastle v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 5 Jan, KO 17:30

Half time, 0-0 still. Very open match, Rovers racking up the corner count, Newcastle can't find the target. I like our chances going into the second half.

Re: FA Cup: Newcastle v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 5 Jan, KO 17:30

I imagine the usual suspects will play at Newcastle. Only thing that might be different is Graham off for Brereton, flip a coin on Bell or Williams, and maybe see Rodwell instead of Evans. Rodwell last played at Leeds, so he might be due for a match and see where his fitness is at.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v West Bromwich Albion

Decision to go with a 4-4-2 after conceding a goal was a great decision. Didn't give up on the game and shut up shop. I would be interested to see Brereton-Armstrong combo up top for the 4-4-2.

Re: Sheffield United v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 29th Dec 2018, KO 15:00

Travis was okay, put a ton of effort in. Don't think central midfield is his position. Needs to work on what to do when winning the ball and making complete passes. Looked rushed. Rothwell did okay as well. Made a couple missed touches which gave up possession. Made those bombing runs right down the...

Re: Sheffield United v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 29th Dec 2018, KO 15:00

Smallwood needs to know not to go in studs up around the opposing 18 yard box. It was definitely a yellow card offense, and only made it worse by Sheff Utd going down to 10 men earlier. Really disappointed how the team went to crap after that red card though.

Quite the shakeup of a squad. Brereton gets his first official start up top. Palmer, Rothwell, Travis, and Bennett all make the starting 11. I'm kind of excited to see how this team will perform.

https://i.imgur.com/oVu4xRo.jpg I believe this is the statistic you are referring to. I understand the mistakes that are made, but they are mistakes and missteps that need to be corrected. Just watched the highlights of Leeds. One thing I am intrigued by is Jack Rodwell starting. He seemed to do ve...
