Re: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 23 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

I agree now, I do see how it was effective later on. It did help get something going. However, as a system, if we are going launch long balls, Dack centrally is not a good plan.

Re: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 23 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

I just don't see the purpose of Dack centrally as a false 9 striker. His best football comes from behind the striker, not as a striker. Sure, Brereton on the left wing did create some opportunity, but if that's the case, he needs to be pushed higher up the pitch as a striker rather than a winger.

Re: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 23 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

Yea, wheels definitely came off. I don't think Mowbray has learned that Dack up top alone is a good idea. We see this everytime Graham comes off and Brereton comes on. I hope this is the match where he says "yea I screwed up, I will change that." I don't know what to really say about this match. Eva...

Well Lenihan went off injured, Rodwell came on.

No changes in the 18 or starting 11.

Re: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 23 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

News that Nyambe and Davenport are possibly in the lineup, whether in the 18 or starting 11 is remain to be seen.

Probably should see Graham on the bench and hopefully see Brereton get a start up top. Really need to have an imposing, tall forward up top to play our game.

I miss the Trumpism answers. They were the best answers.
I'll take it under advisement

Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 23 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

Swansea City's record at home is not the best, and they are just coming off two consecutive defeats. I hope that Rovers can take this enthusiasm and keep marching forward with another victory.

In all fairness I have seen one of those over the Chinese Super League and it is thrilling.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Leeds United, Sat 20 Oct 2018, KO 12:00

I think that would be a positive result considering Leeds position thus far. Obviously, a win would be fantastic but Leeds have a fantastic squad and manager this season.

Blackburn Rovers v Leeds United, Sat 20 Oct 2018, KO 12:00

Should be an interesting one with Leeds in 3rd place. Leeds only have 1 loss on the season, and quite a potent attacking squad.

Re: Bolton v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 6 Oct 2018, KO 17:30

What a win! Overturned penalty turned into an offside. Level on points with a playoff position. Really bunkered down in the 2nd half. Overall, Rodwell needs to get his match fitness up. He seemed to be really good in the middle of the park defensively. Possibly what we need to upgrade from Smallwood...

Rovers doing well in the first half. Bolton have gotten some chances but Raya has been doing superb today.

Re: Bolton v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 6 Oct 2018, KO 17:30

Big changes for this match as Rothwell, Rodwell, Palmer, and Mulgrew all get starts. Raya Bennett-Lenihan-Mulgrew-Williams Reed-Rodwell Rothwell-Dack-Palmer Graham Very interesting to see the wholesale change of no Smallwood or Evans, as they appear on the bench. Hoping Brereton can get off to scori...

Bolton v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 6 Oct 2018, KO 17:30

Hopefully a bounce back would be great to do, even better to do it against rivals.
