Re: Rotherham v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 2 Mar 2019, KO 15:00

Officiating didn't help either. I would boil it down to lack of clinical finishing and defending.

Re: Rotherham v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 2 Mar 2019, KO 15:00

The 5-2-2-1 and 5-1-3-1 looked good during this match. Just a shame to not see what Lenihan can provide in that setup, otherwise it is showing the lack of depth we have been running with at centreback all season. We are using Nyambe as a 4th choice centreback, where he needs to be out right. Rovers ...

Going to get a big 45 minutes for Joe Rothwell.

Re: Rotherham v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 2 Mar 2019, KO 15:00

I think someone needs to muster up some mustard before we think of cutting the mustard

Re: Rotherham v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 2 Mar 2019, KO 15:00

Just a sloppy first half so far. Not great first touch on the ball, needs to look elsewhere for passes.

Re: Rotherham v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 2 Mar 2019, KO 15:00

The real question at hand is who can make the mustard, not cut it.

Re: Birmingham City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 23 Feb 2019, KO 15:00

Have to be thinking that Mowbray wants to see where we sit on the table when we hit the 40th match mark. With 6 matches to play, 9 points adrift from playoffs, I think he feels there is an outside chance. To be perfectly honest, we do need to get a couple more wins. Looking at Wigan and Rotherham in...

Re: Birmingham City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 23 Feb 2019, KO 15:00

Unfortunate to get the draw at the end. Defense giving up a great goal to Che Adams, had him at a difficult angle but unable to stop it. Armstrong at the end making a bombarding run towards Birmingham City's defense, practically beat half the team. Slid the ball across the 6 yard box only for Dack t...

Re: Birmingham City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 23 Feb 2019, KO 15:00

Bell is the culprit again for the easy giveaway, for the Che Adams goal. This is becoming a theme of the season, really hope Mowbray is looking hard for a new left back.

Re: Birmingham City v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 23 Feb 2019, KO 15:00

I can't see Conway leaving as he would be good as cover on the wings. I don't think he could find a starting position at a League 1 club, so if he is willing to be a bench warmer, I think he will stay. Evans and Smallwood, I don't know. If Mowbray is able to bring in a solid box-to-box midfielder, I...

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesborough, Sun 17 Feb 2019, KO 13:00

If we can secure mid-table finish along with getting some appearances from Davenport and Chapman, I will consider this a successful season. Would also be nice to see Rodwell and Rothwell get starts in the midfield as well.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesborough, Sun 17 Feb 2019, KO 13:00

I agree on Nyambe. It's a shame he has been dropped. Not having Bennett in midfield really takes the energy out of counter attacking.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Middlesborough, Sun 17 Feb 2019, KO 13:00

Full time, 4th loss in a row. After going down a man, it was expected. However, our best chances came from the 2nd half. It's quite clear depth at centreback is a big issue. Williams is a bit of a liability at left back and centrally, Mulgrew has his bad games, and Rodwell isn't a centreback. Having...
