Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

It just means he is about 5'5" tall, nothing more. Ah. I assumed he'd avoided paying tax... Rovers would be ok with signing him under the FFP rules though...Five Foot Player....anyway in other news and in tribute to Scotland's 1978 world cup team the present day Scots couldnt do any better against ...

Re: The Blackburn Rovers 'We Are Going Up' Celebration Thread

I seem to remember the early play off system involved the first two teams being promoted and those in the play off place played against the teams in the relegation places. For example Rovers once finished in the play off places in the old second division and had to play Chelsea who finished in the r...

Re: The Blackburn Rovers 'We Are Going Up' Celebration Thread

So who is going up along with Rovers and Wigan. Shrewsbury and Rotherham are currently fighting for that last promotion place in the play off final. Its gone to extra time and with fifteen minutes to go its Rotherham who have a 2-1 lead. Times up folks and its Rotherham who complete the set of who c...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

The media is linking Rovers with a lot of out of contract players and those rumoured to be refusing new deals. Does the media know something about Tony Mowbray's pocket money transfer fund before he gets on the plane to Pune. For all the media knows Venkys may give Tony a huge wad of cash to spend.....

Re: Blackburn Rovers, Season in Review- D3D4football.com

A positive article from Waco about a positive outcome to the season. A lot said too about the players who made the season a success. Several of them brought in by Tony Mowbray namely Dack, Downing and Smallwood and on loan Armstrong, Chapman and Payne. But what about about Mowbrays signings that di...

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

Last day in the championship and it looks like its going down to the final kick of the game. We know what that is like to hope we win and others do not. As it stands Bolton need a goal and hope either Burton or Barnsley do not score. Forty five minutes to go. Wow...in the last few minutes Bolton ha...

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

Some ugly scenes emerging on social media surrounding the crowd invasion. Jeremy Kyle still has plenty of applicants for his show on the evidence of this rabble who took to the pitch yesterday. Doncaster away was different. The fans who travelled to see Rovers up and down the country wanted to celeb...

Re: Blackburn v Oxford, Sat 5 May 2018, KO 17:30

Congratulations Mowbray and the lads. A great end to the season. And congratulations to Wigan for winning the league, well deserved. Yeah well done Wigan. Might have been difference if we had not have had such a bad start to the season. Would have been different if we had not let slip a two goal ad...
