Re: Blackburn Rovers v Brentford, Sat, 25 August 2018, KO 15:00

One shot on target according to the BBC. But one shot was all that was needed 8-)

Re: Jack Rodwell

This is kind of like buying that car you always wanted that was always too expensive. This one has got average mileage for its age but had a few owners of late. Nobody else wants it so its a bargain right?

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Reading, Wed, 22 August 2018, KO 19:45

Overall a good performance tonight. Regarding Joe Rothwell it was difficult to see what Tony Mowbray saw in him during pre season. There are signs now he can become a first team regular. Plenty of injuries to evaluate before the next game but lets look at the positives. We maybe drawing too many gam...

Splendid win for Rovers. 750,000 for Bradley Dack looks more and more like the deal of the decade.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Forking out millions on an unproven player who isnt even considered for his present club starting line up is questionable. Fortunately the permanent transfer window is closed. If Tony Mowbray insists on Brereton being a target then the better option would be a loan with an option to buy in January a...

Re: Carabao Cup: Carlisle v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 14 August 2018, KO 19:45

Curiousity got the better of me and i had to find out exactly what a Carabao was. Then i had to wonder what a swamp type domestic water bufalo native to the Philipphines had to do with an English football cup competition. Only joking of course as i know the competition sponsors have an energy drink ...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

If we’re really after another striker, then the loan/loan to buy window is open until the 31st, so there’s still time. Of course selling clubs now think we have 5 million floating around... :footinmouth: Where's all the money gone!..it looks like clubs want to keep hold of their most wanted players...

Re: Sack race

Not sacked but today Gary Bowyer walked away from Blackpool. Story is he was using his own money to pay for the training facilities at Fulwood. Top bloke and deserves a chance with another club were he has more support from the owner.

Re: Adam Armstrong

Newcastle fans are doing their nut. Some saying Rovers have got Arma on the cheap. Some saying he should stay with Newcastle. I can see there point. Rovers have got him cheaply. Should he start scoring regularly his value will increase far beyond the 3 million Rovers would eventually pay for him. It...

Interesting to see what went on at the Middlesboro v Millwall game today. Harry Chapman started on the bench and their he sat all game. Even with boro being two down Tony Pulis brought on two other subs to eventually finish up 2-2. Inspired substitutions.....After the game Pulis made comment that bo...

Re: Ipswich Town v Blackburn Rovers, Sat 4 August 2018, KO 15:00

I was surprised how Rovers lined up from the start with not one new signing to be seen in the starting eleven. Not that Rothwell and Davenport had done anything pre season to warrant a start. Ok Davenport is iniured but i thought Palmer might have started. No surprise we conceeded a soft early goal ...
