Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

Clearly I'm struggling to get my opinion across. This Rovers team is a totally different, far better, and far more positive team than the one that was relegated last year, moreover our reserves are much stronger and we continue to improve. I stand by my comments that this team will do well in the Ch...

Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

Have to say I'n disappointed with the negativity shown after an unbeaten run of 18 games, and climbing into the automatic promotion spot. Fact -you can't do any more than beat the teams you are playing against. If people don't believe our team has been transformed by the arrival of Dack, Armstyrong,...

Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

Shame about the Walsall goal, I think Nyambe (who didn't have his best game) slipped on the turf. This Rovers team is beginning to look very very good. Graham is enjoying a superb run of form his finishing is lethal Armstrong played out of his skin last night, very quick and a huge attacking threat ...

Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

I'd be happy with the Samuel change but after last Saturday Amari Bell would, after Dack, be my first name on the team sheet.

Re: Peter Whittingham

I'm afraid this lad's best form is well behind him. I don't recollect him having a single shot at goal, never mind score - I know he's described as a 'defensive midfielder' but even they are expected to move towards goal now and again. Not surprised Cardiff let him go. He's in the same category as C...

Re: Blackburn v Northampton, Sat 27 Jan, 2018, KO 15:00

As Man City demonstrated last week, you can't win every match no matter how good you are or how much you dominate the play. This won't be the only match we won't win, but we are a good team and quality will out at the end of the season. More specifically, I agree with the comments re Samuel , ironic...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

We were relegated by the tiniest possible margin. I think that Mowbray and this season's excellent signings would not only have ensured survival in the Championship. but would have seen us comfortably midway. Relegation has given us a much needed respite in the run of continual defeats, but it put a...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Have to say I'm enjoying this season - the best for a long time. But I still want us to get promoted, and again if possible.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I'd be almost as worried about Mowbray going, as his inbound transfers have for the most part been excellent.

Re: Blackburn Rovers- Midseason Review

Two home matches in four days (Northampton and Walsall) might see us begin to close up on Wigan and pull away from Shrewsbury. I just hope we can raise our game against the teams in the lower end of the division.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I don't see the advantage to Dack of signing for a Championship club, especially if Rovers consolidate their no. 2 spot, unless there was a significant wage rise.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I thought Adam Henley was treated somewhat harshly - only a kid he played some good games for Rovers. He's been out of work since leaving Ewood and he doesn't deserve that.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I would sooner sit in a public toilet watching a nine inch black and white tv playing continual go compare ads than watch Lowe and Evans passing the ball any direction except forwards, and Whittingham's just as bad. Tomlinson may not have as much experience, but his enthusiasm and sense of attack ma...

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Seems an odd signing when we have Graham, Nuttall, Samuel and Antonsson. A winger, midfielder and left back would be my preference.
Any more about the Fleetwood left back - forgotten his name? Radio Lancs were talking about 'strong rumours'.
Apart from that, any sign of anyone else going?
