Re: POSTPONED - Gillingham v Blackburn, Sat 17 March 2018, KO 15:00

It's going to be another nail biting end to the season, could even go to the last match of the play offs. Doing my nerves no good at all.

Re: Gillingham v Blackburn, Sat 17 March 2018, KO 15:00

We've seen so much more settled with Bennet playing alongside Smallwood, I'd be happy to see Caddis although my preference would be for Travis to play midfield and Bennet to drop back. Happy to go along with whatever TM thinks best. Great news about Chapman - him, Dack, Graham and Armstrong are some...

Wigan's goals in the last stages of matches is beginning to rival Manchester United's Fergie time

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

Fans that don't get to many matches will point to Graham's goal scoring record. Those of us that go regularly know that he adds much more than that. I've not seen many players that can play with their back to the goal, shield the ball and pass to other attackers as well as Graham. Rhodes, for all hi...

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

I'm a bit perplexed about the comments made re Armstrong. Graham, Dack and Armstrong are an outstanding attacking combination. Frankly I think we should push the boat out and sign the lad. Not sure about Antonsson but Conway seems past his best - he'd be on my list to go this summer, along with Whit...

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

Dan - thanks for that, Armstrong is playing out of his boots. Again I agree with all the comments Gaz has made. I couldn't quite understand why Nyambe's replacement was Evans -Amari Bell seemed the obvious choice although this lad seems to have gone off the boil a tad. A strange game in many ways , ...

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

I can get a bet that all three will win at say 4-1. But a bookmaker won't lay me the converse, ie one of them not to win. If I had a bookmakers licence (I used to have!) then I could offer say yourself £10 to win all three - I would then win if any of them failed to win. In other words I would be be...

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

My mrs used to be a travel agent. She was selling a holiday to tenerife to one couple and quoted that it only rained in tenerife 30 days in a year.
You can guess the response........can you tell us which days!
Similarly, one of the three teams won't win, wouldn't like to say which one, though.

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

I think the odds are a tad generous tbh. 5-2 would be my idea of a price to lay.

Re: blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

If you fancy Rovers, Wigan and Shrews all to win, Ladbrokes are offering about 4-1 for the trble, But one of them won't win

blackburn Rovers v Blackpool Sat March 10

Rovers, Wigan and Shrewsbury all appear to have winnable home matches on Saturday - but one of the three will slip up - the question is, which one?

Re: Blackburn v Wigan Athletic, Sunday 4th March 2018, KO 12 high noon

Raya is without doubt a great shot stopper, but he's weak in the goal mouth rough and tumbles, and his kicking is poor. He is young and should improve, but will he learn swiftly enough and be ready for the Championship?
I'm not sure, but happy to trust TM's judgement.
