Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

I couldn't believe how poor we were in the first half. The guys that have led the push for promotion this year were the worst offenders. Mulgrew,Bennett and Lenihan were dire. Clearly it was a matter of nerves which Mowbray clearly sorted at half time - that and his asture substitutions all season p...

Re: Blackburn v Peterborough, Thur 19 April 2018, KO 18:45

We won't get 18,000 while it's on tele. Mowbray has to resolve the problem whereby we allow teams to hammer us in the last ten minutes. Perhaps it's a psychological thing , possibly about not wanting to lose, but as always, the best means of defence is attack. If Mr Samuel doesn't find his shooting ...

Re: Bristol ROVERS v Blackburn ROVERS, Sat 14 April 2018, KO 15:00

I will feel sooooooo much more relaxed if we can win tomorrow. The Shrews will really struggle to catch us then. And watch out for Wigan dropping a clanger before the end.

Re: NEW DATE - Gillingham v Blackburn, Tue 10 April 2018, KO 19:25

We need a spot of youth on the pitch to create a bit of fire and raw enthusiasn. I'd love to see Travis on the pitch and Williams needs a game on the bench, A pity Nyambe is injured - he's an attack minded full back. I suppose what I'm saying is that Mowbray needs to freshen the team up - preferably...

Re: Blackburn v Southend, Sat 7 Apr 2018, KO 15:00

As everyone say, we were lucky to scrape a win yesterday, the Southend supporters must be baffled by our league position. The last ten minutes wasn't just nervousness, it was sheer panic. Balls being hoofed anywhere, a silly, unsuccessful attempt to run the ball into the corner when we had two men i...

I wonder if they'll still water the pitch at half time?

Re: Value of Rovers

Did Burnley not post a profit of over £20M last season? Mainly from a couple of judicious transfers, nevertheless they succesfully replaced the likes oi Keane with very little money. If ever a club was to be used as an example of how a small town club should be run, Burnley would be it. (Never thoug...

Re: MK Dons v Blackburn, Mon 2 April 2018, KO 15:00

Of course if Sunderland are relegated to this division it would have the same effect on the smaller clubs that Rangers had when they were dismissed to the Scottish third division. The Accringtons of this world would believe all their Christmases had arrived at once. Sunderland's home gate is around ...

Re: MK Dons v Blackburn, Mon 2 April 2018, KO 15:00

If ever a club deserved to play at a higher level it's Portsmouth. 18,000 fans turned out on a lousy night when the match was televised. So glad they won, but if it came to a play off it would seem harsh is Shrewsbury, Rovers or Wigan didn't go up. Every match and every result is a nail biter now, j...
