Jack Payne

Confirmed.

Only referred to us as a "great club" so he's made a poor start there.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Seems like the Payne thing is going to happen. I was at the Oxford game and he was by miles their best player and one of the best players on the pitch that day.

As mentioned above he is essentially a left footed Dack. He's a number 10 more than a wide player.

Excellent performance, fully deserved and gave a statement of intent to Shrewsbury which was really important.

Really pleased to see Graham get into double figures already too.

That's what people who get involved in pyramid schemes always say oddly enough :D

Re: Blackburn v Shrewsbury, 13-1, 2017 @ 15:00

Yeah Whittingham out really isn't a big deal, he's not really got going for us at all. Games I've seen recently we've always looked good in the second half when he's brought on Tomlinson to play in the middle with Smallwood, although Travis was decent against Hull. I'm assuming out wide it will be B...

Well it's a bake of two halves and we've got the Nordic bakeware in our locker.

Re: Cryptocurrencies

Blackbat I didn't say it was a pyramid scheme I said it was akin to one, as in it has some similar characteristics. Yes this is an opinion but it's something that has been written about a fair bit. A strategist from JP Morgan for example has said along the lines of: The scarcity of bitcoin some evan...

Re: Cryptocurrencies

Do you guys actually know what a pyramid scheme is? Yes... The reason why I'd liken it to Cypto is that possibly the primary factor in holding any investment isn't what you think about the currency it's other potential investors think about the currency. Essentially you want a lot of people to beli...

Re: Cryptocurrencies

Yeah I'd say with crypto the way they're being marketed for people to invest is definitely more akin to a pyramid scheme.

Not done it myself yet but a few friends now involved they all seem to have gone either BTC or Ethereum, not sure I know enough yet to get involved.

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

I'll weep if we bring Lowe back, we've been vastly better at the base of midfield with Smallwood there and I'd rather we gave Tomlinson more of a chance. Granted we need some additional cover there as Whittingham isn't showing much form and Evans isn't fit or performing consistently, but I'd imagine...

Re: Rekeem Harper

Not surprised, would of perhaps been useful if he'd been here till the weekend so we could have used him in the FA Cup and rested Smallwood.

Re: Blackburn/Rochdale, Boxing Day.

I'd happily see Tomlinson partner Smallwood in midfield with Dack ahead of them.

Rovers making it look easy these days.

Question for Dan or anybody else who has watched more football than me; are Dack & Mulgrew that much better than the majority of players at this level?
From seeing us a few times this season yes, especially Dack.
