Re: West Brom v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 27 Oct 2018, KO 15:00

I love this team! Probably deserved all 3 points too. Well-earned point. I worried about this trip. Still fell down the table, though. The table is silly at the moment it’s so bunched up you can’t read too much into it. Most importantly we’re 10 points away from the dungeon. We’ve played the 3 rele...

That’s annoying as same happened at Swansea and I think having to use an early sun hindered Mowbray a little.

Re: West Brom v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 27 Oct 2018, KO 15:00

Interesting line up. Those grumbling about Dack as a striker won’t be pleased. Looks like he is starting up top with Rothwell behind then Conway and Palmer wide. Concern will be when under pressure we’ve got now outlet up top to win the ball much like at Derby away where Mowbray had to make a change...

Re: West Brom v Blackburn Rovers, Sat, 27 Oct 2018, KO 15:00

Hard one for a bounce back. I know they lost at Wigan and got spanked by Derby but they’re still a very good side with a number of Prem quality players.

If we can get anything today will be a big bonus and I’m anticipating a loss so hopefully will be pleasantly surprised if we do well.

Re: Sack race

Eventhough Rhodes had wanted to leave in previous transfer windows before Lambert was at the club?

Re: Sack race

So you blame Lambert for Rhodes but not Bowyer for Cairney and Gestede?

Re: Sack race

I think I was tired of listening to the smoke and mirrors of what has or hasn't been said, agreed in Pune, promise this or promise that. Our managers over 8 years have either been complete shit and sometimes appointed for possibly the wrong reasons, or been very decent and honest like Bowyer and Mow...

Re: Sack race

There's no point going into this again as there is a big difference of opinion on this board about Lambert. Of course he was far from amazing but he did okay. We were 16th when he came in and 15th when he left so nothing to be excited about and for me nothing to be overly pissed off about. Our momen...

Re: Sack race

Paul Hurst not surprisingly has been sacked by Ipswich. I didn't expect him to take the division by storm but I'm slightly surprised at how bad they've been. He possibly overestimated the ability of the League 1 players who brought with him to make the step up to the Championship, for example the di...

I’m not advocating it as a system we should start games with or use regularly, just that it was clear to see why Mowbray did it within the context of the game and it resulted in us looking more dangerous going forward.

Re: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers, Tue, 23 Oct 2018, KO 19:45

Seems to be a lot of fuss about Graham going off and Brereton coming on to play on the left. Was pretty clear that van der Hoorn was winning absolutely everything in the air but Brereton could go up against Naughton and start winning balls and getting us on the attack which did start to happen, part...
