Re: Rebuilding Rovers

Don't see everyone is still cooing over these 2 from Birmingham. No way in hell we are willingly going to sell Jones and Samba, can't see either going. Nelsen Samba Jones Givet Hanley We have excellent choices at CB. Totally agree Toppers, Birmingham going down is unforgivable, not only should they ...

Re: Rumours + Trialist talks

Skysports.com "understands" Blackburn are weighing up a move for Hibernian star Derek Riordan. Scotland international Riordan is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Easter Road. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11676_6954557,00.html :( He is even shit in Fifa

Re: Rebuilding Rovers

So you don't see either Formica or Rochina becoming part of the side? I do, but I guess both will want to play behind a striker and I think Hoilett is lethal in that position. I think 4-4-1-1 looks our strongest formation and Kean as good as settled on it in the run in. It is just a case of fitting...

Re: Rumours + Trialist talks

Isn't Larsson SEM? He will come to us I'd imagine, would be a great signing and he can slot in on the right wing which frees up Hoilett to play in a free role like he did against United and Wolves. This it is his best position as he is wasted on the wing and his crossing is a bit shit, he is more us...

Re: Rebuilding Rovers

Personally I'd do a bit of a sex wee if this was our line up next season:

--------------Robinson
Emerton Samba Jones Warnock
Larsson N'Zonzi Jones Olsson
---------------Hoilett
----------Super Striker!

Re: Who do you want as manager next season?

Totally agree with you there. Too many fans have grumbled about how shit Kean has been considering the money he got to spend in January. As you state Formica and Rochina were never intended to feature in the first team, so those transfer are yet to be judged. Jermaine Jones was brilliant so success....

Re: Hoilett's reaction to landing £40,000-a-week contract

Players who have/are supposedly on or around 40k or more a week.

Benni Mac
Santa Cruz
Bentley
Bellamy
Pedersen
Samba
Robbo

Pennant was also offered 50k when the deal was on the table.

If we won't give Hoilett 40k a week or more he will want to leave, the ugly state that football is these days.

40k a week isn't that much, Pedersen earns that if not more
