Re: Arsenal vs Rovers, Sat 2nd April, 17:30

He didn't go in with his studs showing, though? :-? Unless you mean he wasn't dragging his feet across the ground, therefore you could see the studs underneath his boot... They weren't showing as in directly straight out horizontally aiming for Koscielny's legs, but he left the ground with both fee...

Re: Arsenal vs Rovers, Sat 2nd April, 17:30

I had no complaints after seeing the highlights. Even if you play the ball, going in two footed with studs showing, you're going to get a red card.

What is frustrating in then seeing Vidic somehow get a yellow card, when the rule book would give him 2 yellows and a straight red...

Re: Arsenal vs Rovers, Sat 2nd April, 17:30

Difficult view in the stadium, as it barely looked like a foul so we were obviously angry and bewildered.

But having seen the the highlights, no malice at all, but it was a red card. Shame as he looked to have found last seasons form :(

Thorisgodpoo wrote:Emerton was a piece of turd out there taking free kicks. It was 2 free kicks he (should have not) took and all the corners he (should have not) took. Bet we might have won if we had Pedersen in not launching the ball into space and back.
We'd have lost with Pedersen on the pitch.

Re: Can we stay up..???

Still think we will be safe, I just want to get safe as soon as possible, as if we were clear from relegation the games against City and United would be fantastic. No pressure on us and Kean has shown how well we can play. What is most pleasing is that we have turned our bad form around and are now ...

Re: Arsenal vs Rovers, Sat 2nd April, 17:30

Jermaine Jones has been immense since coming here. What I find amazing is that so many fans have been so indifferent to him or not thought he is particularly good. He played as well as that in his debut at home to WBA and although these are 2 outstanding performances, he has still been good and soli...

Re: Arsenal vs Rovers, Sat 2nd April, 17:30

Yes it is a very good point but tbh it is no different to a team selection BFS would have made away from home. Though the way we went about playing was massively different. We looked to counter by passing rather than lumping. I was also impressed by the way J Jones and N'Zonzi played as box to box ...

Re: Arsenal vs Rovers, Sat 2nd April, 17:30

How the fuck are people grumbling about the team selection? It was basically perfect except Santa Cruz didn't decide to turn up or do anything, Roberts was a huge improvement. Was there today and we were quite simply brilliant, our midfield trio was just immense. Jermaine Jones was faultless and it ...

Re: Jerome Anderson

I miss Fortress well Spammers as turning to Fortress killed it :( OOJW we used to agree on basically everything, just 606 in particular went massively on a downer after we lost at Wigan. My hope is that we avoid relegation and have a very positive and exciting summer and can all look forward to the ...

Stone Cold Steve Austin also returns to special guest referee Jerry 'The King' Lawler vs Michael Cole! BAW GAWD! STONE COLD! Haven't watched wrestling in years, but that is genuine entertainment! I like watching greased up muscle bound men in spandex grappling each other because it makes me feel se...
