Re: Rekeem Harper

Not surprised, would of perhaps been useful if he'd been here till the weekend so we could have used him in the FA Cup and rested Smallwood.

Re: Blackburn/Rochdale, Boxing Day.

I'd happily see Tomlinson partner Smallwood in midfield with Dack ahead of them.

Rovers making it look easy these days.

Question for Dan or anybody else who has watched more football than me; are Dack & Mulgrew that much better than the majority of players at this level?
From seeing us a few times this season yes, especially Dack.

Re: Northampton v Blackburn, Sat @ 2:00 PM GMT, 23-12 2017

Mowbray has said the squad has really been suffering with illness. Not excusing the performance in his own words but we just couldn't get to our usual levels. That was clearly evident. I'm frustrated but it's not the end of the world. Over 90 minutes I think Northampton would have counted themselves...

Re: Northampton v Blackburn, Sat @ 2:00 PM GMT, 23-12 2017

We weren't very good today. Not having Mulgrew made a clear difference. We definitely looked less solid and organised which was very evident on their opening goal from a corner. No idea why Whittingham started ahead of Tomlinson who was much better when he came on and was probably only the last 20 m...

Lovely stuff.

Pleasing to see the depth of our squad being able to bring on Nuttall and Graham.

Re: Blackburn v Charlton Sat 16-12 2017

Won't be easy today but we're in fine form. Charlton are a good side and I've always thought quite highly of Karl Robinson as a manager. I'm sure we lost to his MK Dons in the cup a few seasons back too.

But we have got Dack in attack :hyper:

Re: Blackpool v Blackburn, Tue 28-11 2017

Quite an interesting night given the other fixture between Charlton and Peterborough. If Charlton and Rovers both win is opens up a big gap between the playoffs and 7th. Equally we could drop down to 6th with a few teams right on our tails. Unless we lose by 10 goals or more, we can't drop down to ...

Re: Oxford United v Blackburn Rovers, Tue 21/11 2017

Tex in 2014 we went 0-3 up away at Birmingham in the Championship in 24 minutes, I was at the game and we were 0-4 at half time. Although we won the match 2-4 we proceeded to have a very shaky second allowing them to get back into it. It was an outstanding 45 minutes with King absolutely murdering t...

Re: Oxford United v Blackburn Rovers, Tue 21/11 2017

Was nice to see him play, generally he did okay but certainly his decision making on a couple of occasions with the ball can and I'm sure will improve. But then he was in the right place to score an important goal, although it just hit him and bobbled in he was in the right space. Also the service t...
