Re: Boxing Day Bash: Leeds United v Blackburn Rovers, Wed 26 Dec 2018, KO 15:00

Blackbat is right as I think the stat I've seen is that we've been winning in 15 games but only won 7 of them, but it's not always last minute cruelty. Certainly Ipswich, Villa, Boro, Birmingham and Leeds are frustrating as the goals conceded were late (Boro not so much late but against 10 men) but ...

For anyone that didn’t know or isn’t going to the game they’ve allowed for it to be streamed on iFollow so a match pass is available.

Very tough game, any points from this and it’ll be impressive despite the fact we beat them at Ewood.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Norwich City, Sat, 22 Dec 2018, KO 15:00

No shame in losing against Norwich. That’s 9 wins in 11 for them and we as good as matched them for 90 minutes. As Mowbray said it’s fine margins. The frustration is just not getting 3 points in either the Boro or Brum games. But as always it’s about perspective given where we came from last season....

Hopefully we don't have to suffer an ex-player curse with Rhodes or Hanley.
or Ben Marshall
Good point. All 3 seem to be subs usually.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Norwich City, Sat, 22 Dec 2018, KO 15:00

Another tough test tomorrow, Norwich have won 8 of their last 10 games and tend to score plenty of goals have won games very late on. Luckily we rarely concede late goals  A bit like us they also don't keep many clean sheets so it could be a fairly open and expansive game. Not sure I support th...

Re: Rovers/Birmingham City

Have a good day. Thanks. I guess it just makes things even more awkward to point out that Nottingham Forest predominantly played Breretion as a wide left attacker and he came on as a sub in nearly half his appearances for them  You can come on here and complain that you've been undermined an...

Conway and Bennett confirmed as out for this one. I guess that probably means we'll see Reed out right with Smallwood and Evans in the middle and Armstrong left.

Re: Lewis Travis

Yeah it's clear we isn't going to be in the starting XI but he wants more game time, what I don't understand is why didn't we send him out on loan in the summer and be looking at assessing things now which would have kept him much happier as a player.

Re: Blackburn Rovers v Norwich City, Sat, 22 Dec 2018, KO 15:00

Are we still going to debate Big Sam? Does everyone always forget that he wanted to quit and leave us? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/9007986.allardyce-i-wanted-to-quit-blackburn-rovers/ I think it's highly presumptuous to think he'd easily keep us floating above relegation in the Prem....

Re: Rovers/Birmingham City

MouseTrap firstly do not tarnish me with being part of any clique on here, I'm certainly not! And when I talk about a coherent argument again you've bemoaned Mowbray playing two holding midfielders and lacking creativity, but then advocate Big Sam as a replacement. I'm not sure how creative you find...

Re: Rovers/Birmingham City

As I stated previously everyone in entitled to an opinion and people are also entitled to debate opinions. But a problem will always arise where an opinion comes across as slightly extreme given the circumstances as well contradictory to obvious facts. You seem hell bent on leveling criticisms at Mo...

Re: Lewis Travis

Article in the LT about Mowbray commenting on the likelihood of Travis going out on loan to a league 1 side in January. Obviously we don't know the full internal nature of relationships and what is going on but it just seems to be that we're not managing him as best as possible. He's such a promisin...
