Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

I don't think the current team would do much better than lower half Championship relegation battlers. Our two best players were in the team that came down in Mulgrew and Graham. I think that says a lot. I said I fancy it to beat many of our teams. Having two of the same players is kinda irrelevant ...

Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

I'm using our recent past because it's, you know, recent. The last 7 years seems like a pretty good reference sample. I don't see any point living on the rose coloured memories of times long past. If you do that's fine - each to their own.

Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

So just the last 7 years of teams we could beat eh. We've not been that team of the late 90s and early 00s for a long long time. Winning is fun, losing is not. I'm pleased for you that you enjoy losing in higher divisions. Me, not so much.

It didn't feel like better very often. I'd fancy our current team to beat many of our past teams.

Yeah, enjoy the winning while it lasts I say. Before you know it we will be back to struggling to get results again :D

This Rovers team is beginning to look very very good.
In League 1.
We asked if we could play in the Premiership this season but they said no. Wankers.

Graham is enjoying a superb run of form his finishing is lethal
I think what Graham is enjoying is having someone half decent to play with up top and not having to hold the ball up in order to pass it to himself in space so he can put a cross in for him to get onto and tuck away.

Perhaps racial discrimination and Blackburn isn't the best subject to get onto.

Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

We never heard Winston Churchill say 'Well lads go out their and do your best and if we dont win well there is always the next war'. He did say "You do your worst and we will do our best" though. But then I suspect you could get a Churchill quote for absolutely anything. You never heard Eisenhower ...

Re: Blackburn v Walsall, Tue 30 Jan 2018, KO 19:45

The problem with Walsall is they are all six-foot-four and full of muscles. Some of them may be from Brussels, I haven't checked.

Re: Blackburn v Shrewsbury, 13-1, 2017 @ 15:00

They could injure the goalkeeper by chucking a bottle at him. If no Rovers fans threw atuff at the keeper, he wouldn't have had cause to retaliate. Our fans were the instigator of the problem, we should get a bigger punishment than Shrewsbury. Yes we should. However, being happy to injure s...

That's cos you're an absolute cretin ;) You can share his frustration and I'm sure I'd be tempted but as JLS says, you could have someone's eye out with that. Probably that 10 year old who has just finished their chemo after a 2 year battle with cancer and has been taken to a match for the first tim...

Not what you'd call market rate really, no.
