Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

There were 34 points between playoffs and relegation in the Championship this season. That means turning 17 draws into victories or 34 defeats into draws (or combination of both). Not really "a few marginal games".

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Quite a few of those weren't good enough for the Championship a season ago... ...with poor managers. Hard to say what they will do now they have had some half decent leadership for another 12 months. Uh-huh. Chris Coleman can get Wales to the Euro semi finals but can't keep Sunderland from sufferin...

With the “retained list” going out today, obviously, Graham has value to the club, & should be retained. Conway has done well here, but at his age, we may have reached a point of diminishing returns.
Interesting conculsion, given they're the same age... :yeahright:

https://twitter.com/richsharpe89/status/996045125980753921 Not a bad base to build a squad on, with a handful of quality additions we should have a competitive side. For which division? Quite a few of those weren't good enough for the Championship a season ago, with a few still to establish themsel...

Oh come on. We'd obviously be better getting someone in on loan.
Wasn't that what Hatty was suggesting? :yeahright:

Re: Rumours, wishlists and general tomfoolery

Rhodes can stay where he is. As you said, lazy journalism, and he's been absolute cack since he left. We need players that can hit the ground running, we don't want to go blowing money on hoping someone can regain the form they had a few years ago. I can think of a number of strikers we've signed w...

Re: Blackburn Rovers, Season in Review- D3D4football.com

A positive article from Waco about a positive outcome to the season. A lot said too about the players who made the season a success. Several of them brought in by Tony Mowbray namely Dack, Downing and Smallwood and on loan Armstrong, Chapman and Payne. But what about about Mowbrays signings that di...

That was when he was still a young pup! Now, he's clearly not worth 6 million, but wants to leave the failure that is the Chinese money pit and recut his teeth in English football. I didn't know Liege was in China. It was 7 years ago... How did they move it out of China? That's a lot of soil...

Re: Sack race

Surely LOLambert has to go soon. He's completely failed at Stoke . Stoke relegated. I can guess what Lambert probably meant to say here , but GUFFAW! I wish I wasn't here because that would mean they'd be in a far better and more stable position. And Stoke brought him in to replace Hughes, who now ...

If Wigan draw, we have to win 18-0 to get the title.

:hyper:
We all know what's going to happen - we'll be celebrating Dack's triple hattrick giving us that magic 18 goal margin in the last minute, and Wigan will sneak a winner in the 7th minute of injury time...

Sorry - Wharton! Doh.
Extra strange is that you wrote Houghton instead of Wharton, but then wrote Wharton a few names later in the list.
Clearly he meant Houghton when he wrote Wharton...
